Great skills from Son. Sweet goal.
Not only Kane we should put Son on £150k per week as well.Another for Kane - boom!
Yesterday it was an absolute delight to see his feet were on speaking terms with each other and to watch him running at defenders, beating them with quick feet, getting behind them, getting balls across or having a shot - all the things we've been crying out for all season.
It was also nice to see Deli spend less time on the floor and more time playing football than he usually does. I hope he continues towards regaining the form he's shown in the last two seasons.
Eriksen also showed a few glimpses of returning to the player he used to be and his goal was a peach.
So in summary - News Flash - Son, Deli Alli and Eriksen had a game where they all played all at the same time, and as a consequence for large swathes of the match we looked like Spurs from last season. If only they had started the season with that form we would be keeping City honest rather than battling to stay in the top 4.

I think the biggest thing about yesterdays performance was Dembele looking like the player he was a year ago.
We really need to wrap him up in cotton wool after every game.
He did, didn't he.We really need to wrap him up in cotton wool after every game.
He seems to have a presence about him that allows him to dominate his bit of the grass. We are much stronger for having him starting.

Agreed. And great to see Wanyama coming on again. If he can get back to full fitness then him and Dembele in the middle of the park is very solid combination.48k said:

.
Very spursy though that just as he starts to grow into a truly exceptional player we'll lose him to military service.

Apparently some Everton fans were spotted with flares trying to get in...
They were in fashion last time they won there!

No you wouldn't, playing at Wembley would be holding you back anyway. Impossible to have done it when every club is giving 2x as much as normal...(By the way, it's 10 or 11 games unbeaten at Wembley now... seems like it's not actually a problem...?)
Good chance for you to get some points on us this weekend, and you've done your part as well as you can! Just hoping we carry on our good results against City at Anfield!

Either Wembley is a problem or it isn't, make up your mind! (By the way, it's 10 or 11 games unbeaten at Wembley now... seems like it's not actually a problem...?)
