Genuine question for my fantasy footy (how hard is the prem one this year btw!!!) who will replace Walker? Trippier or Davies?
Trippier is a straight replacement. Davies is a LB not RB.Cameron Carter-Vickers is on the verge of getting PL games, he had a few cup appearances last year.
Unfortunately we haven't got a deep enough squad to have an experienced RB to slot straight in but we should cope, assuming we don't stay in the CL very long or pick up too many injuries.

You have aspirations of winning the league and are happy to be making 1 of your main rivals stronger ??
If Dier was to go what would this say to your other stars Ali, Kane? etc does that not worry You?
Not sure I'd agree with making them stronger. If Dier was to go what would this say to your other stars Ali, Kane? etc does that not worry You?
But as I see it
1) He's good but always is susceptible to a John Stones 'Brain out' moment, so having them play together may double the chances of one of them cocking it up at the back.
2) We got a big pile of money, we have Trippier and now some funds to buy another replacement. I'm sure they have a target lined up in advance of this happening.
3) We have a stadium to pay for, his head has been turned and he's obv fallen out with Pocettino so he's not going to give 100% for us and doesn't want to be there. So getting 50 large for him is a win for him personally and also a win for us as we have a stadium to pay for.

Dier won't go anywhere as he isn't for sale.If Dier was to go what would this say to your other stars Ali, Kane? etc does that not worry You?
Poch and Walker had a falling out. Walker was therefore replaced in the second half of the season for all of the important games.
Spurs just sold that player for a world record fee for a defender.
I'd have preferred he stayed, but he wanted to go home and they've got big money for him.

I thought "your Daniel" was going to get £60m+ for Walker? Considering City are in a bit of a bind after Alves chose PSG I would have thought Levy was in prime position to dictate a price.
He's a man of honour & his word is is word .& with the no doubt add-ons i would think it is more closer to £60M
