Walker = done.
From the Spurs site:WALKER MOVE TO MAN CITY AGREED
We have reached agreement with Manchester City for the transfer of Kyle Walker.
Kyle joined us from Sheffield United in the summer of 2009 and was subsequently loaned back to the Blades prior to making his debut for us against Portsmouth in March 2010.
Following loan spells with Queens Park Rangers and Aston Villa, Kyle established himself in our starting XI and went on to make 229 appearances in total, scoring four goals. He has also been capped 27 times by England.
We wish Kyle well for the future."
We won't miss his goals!!!
Trippier's new contract pretty much confirmed Walker to Man City.
Gave us 8 years of his career so I'm not that bothered. His performances towards the end of the season showed how his head was turned, so if this is his big pay day, or if his missus was nagging him to go up North or if he genuinely thinks he can do better at Man City - good luck to him.
I'll only be pissed off if we now play silly buggers in the transfer market. We have the money to replace Walker and add to the squad.

With Betaleb gone to Schalke & Walker off to City means we have £66m from player sales.
That should be enough for a couple of decent replacements in this crazy transfer window.
It's £70.5m if you include selling Tom Carroll (in Jan 2017) with no one coming in (every little helps)! That should be enough for a couple of decent replacements in this crazy transfer window.
His agent has tweeted that it's the most expensive fee ever paid for a defender, and the most expensive fee ever paid for an English player.
So therefore, it's more than £50m and is now widely being reported as £54m.
I think it's fair to say that it's a fantastic amount of money for a right back.

Wonder if that is enough to pay for the retractable pitch ?
Speaking of the new stadium, it's amazing to see a photo like this and to think it was exactly 2 months that we were playing ManUtd in the last home game of the season.Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
