I think we're going to see a different Vinny this coming season, I hope so anyway
Me too. I get that he's young, albeit the same age as Harry Kane and two years older than Winks and Alli. It's just that his style of play does not fit with ours, and the worse it got for him last season the harder he tried which meant the worse it got for him. There were games where he could have been brought on and Poch looked elsewhere, possibly because he looked a bit heavy, and most of the time when he did come on he was only given a few minutes if that.I'm really hoping Poch has worked his magic over the summer.
I think people have already touched on it. He plays a traditional number 9 point man role which doesn't suit our style of play at all. I also think he looked a touch heavy and dare I say it, a bit out of shape but perhaps he just needs to adjust to the pace of the premiership which is by far the fastest paced league in the world.
He has shown a glimmer of what he is capable of but not really been given enough game time but then it's a gamble, do you keep throwing him on hoping he comes good or do you put on someone who has proven he can win games like Son?
I also think we should keep him for one more season, that many goals in the Dutch league and internationals can't be a fluke surely.

He was too keen to be on the ball and try to impress and as such, took up deeper/wider positions. Whilst his link up play was good, he was rarely on the end of the move to put the ball in the net. Needs to be more selfish and be making runs towards the penalty spot in order to score, not worry about being on the ball so much.He has shown a glimmer of what he is capable of but not really been given enough game time but then it's a gamble, do you keep throwing him on hoping he comes good or do you put on someone who has proven he can win games like Son?

Strangely Onomah impressed playing a Dembele role for England, whereas Poch has always played him wide/forwards. I expect though that has more to do with just giving him game time in positions where any errors won't be costly?
Does anyone know his actual position?
That is his actual position, Poch has put him further up the pitch in a no 10 roll when he plays him I guess just to try and integrate him. Does anyone know his actual position?

If anyone has a spare 15 minutes to watch some stadium anoraksia, this is an interesting "walk about" vid of the status of the build as of yesterday https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmP6oT1AfJs
Ahhhh that all newspaper bobbins! Terms have been agreed apparently, and there is no way he's going to be on more than the top players, it very much is a Kane is on this much everyone has to follow that at Spurs.
Just the fee to be sorted, £20million plus some add-ons is what Levy is trying, Everton trying for £25. I dare say Levy will win, then move onto seeking a refund for Sissoko.

That's cool! I am on a course in London all next week, I think I am going to pop up and take a look around.Ascayman said:
those prices are mental £45 for the 3rd tier in 90,000 seat stadium
Level 5 is proper vertigo-inducing climb too. I sat there for the FA Cup Semi final, took me over 5 minutes to get down from my seat to the concourse at half time.
In other news I see that Lamella and Rose have not travelled to America due to hip and knee injuries respectively - I thought they were both fit again ?
