Apparently your bench is more expensive than your starting XI!

Not how they should be run, lets be honest BCM if that was how they are run now with all the money coming in who is going to benefit?? certainly not the fans going to the game - the owners will, thats about it,...

It is very admirable having a team that cost you that but everyone knows it probably wont happen again

Incredible indeed. I suppose if our least valuable first team player just sold for £50m then that bunch must be worth £550m+ now.

If the players didn't earn as much as they do & the transfer fee's were a lot less then i'm sure the game would be cheaper to watch through admission & television therefore more accessible for a lot more people.

Bit st that people who cannot afford sky are being priced out of watching the peoples game live .

bks would it. Most clubs will always charge what they can get away with for tickets. The more a club makes in revenue the more a player/agent will demand - after all they are the main reason we pay to watch this spectacle, why shouldn't they get their slice of the pie.

I'd love for their to be a cap on ticket prices or for the fans to benefit from all this money in the Premier League, but it's never going to happen with this massive TV deals.

Of late I'm starting to get the impression that the money men are coming to the conclusion that people actually turning up, in person, to see a game are an unwarranted intrusion on their money stream.

You are of course right, but shouldn't the game be for everyone & not just for the people who can afford SKY ?

confused

Has the imminent move 5 yards north up the Seven Sisters Road taken us out of the catchment area for the term 'local' when applied to Arsenal?
Poorly worded on my part. I meant what with Wembley being our home this season. We've moved, they've not, obviously.

I wonder if City fans would trade their memories of title wins in to be able to post their team has a better net spend than other teams on a fking car forum?

Thought not.
Wonder if City fans have enjoyed a recent invasion of glory hunters that will disappear the second the money/trophies do?

And they are exactly that, memories, despite significant investment and having the worlds best manager, Man City failed to beat us in the league and finished 8 points adrift of us last season.

City have improved all over the park this window. Can see them doing well this season.
The money wont dissappear.
The TV deal is ridiculous these days. They have a great set up facilities wise now and their owner is 47 yrs old, with a massive net worth.
So until he dies I think money will be spent the way it is at the moment

All we can hope for is these owners get bored with football and take up another sport.
