Who did the Liverpool lads lose?
BCM and Ord banned from posting on the thread and I think 700bhp (who everyone believes is a returning poster)
He’s already back again and with a log in name that couldn’t be any more obvious. rolleyes
It's particularly impressive that he references conversations in threads from many months ago, yet has only been a member for 1 month.....
He comes a poor 2nd to the other poster on there who mentions people who were banned years ago but has only been a member for 10 months himself. hehe Oh well, I’m sure the mods will get round to them eventually.

I'm not round these parts so often any more. Who have we lost from the football forum in the mod wars?
Ferg popped in to say hello and then he was kicked out again.

IMO, Ferg's defenestration was a travesty.

Anyway, as this is a Tottenham thread, thought maybe we'd get back on topic? I think we'll blow this Wembley League hoodoo this weekend! I think a comfortable win is on the cards, Bournemouth have been really poor so far, only Eddie Howe's likeableness is keeping the wolves at bay I think...

Wasn't Howe destined to be the next boss at the gooners, they've gone a bit quiet on that. I think you're right will be to good for them.

I hope.

The "great" thing about being a Spurs fan is that it could go either way. Realistically on current form we should destroy them, in reality we'll probably have 90% possession, play some very pretty passing football but it will end 0-0.

But it has been like this for a long time. I can't think of many other football clubs where we get more nervous about playing the minnows then we do about playing the big boys. For some reason Tottenham never seem to have that killer edge to finish the easier games that a lot of the other big teams seem to have, it's a failing that's cost us a few times in the past.

We all said that about Swansea at Wembley too, Although I think we have progressed from then.

More or less a sell out too. There are rumours that this could be the premier league record breaker for attendance.

The Mods were rather Rapid when Ferg appeared , either means he was grassed up or the mods are keeping an eager eye on the footy threads.

Looks like we're about to break the EPL attendance record this weekend that's currently held by Man Utd. And against Bournemouth as well eek

Per this link; https://www.footballfancast.com/football-news/tott...

"Tottenham Hotspur have been enjoying a significant rise over the past few years, and it looks like they are set to beat their competitors in Premier League attendance records.

The Daily Mail reports that the North London outfit are expected to break the division’s 10-year record of 76,098, which was set when Manchester United earned a 4-1 win over Blackburn Rovers at Old Trafford in March 2007."

Onwards and upwards!

Not for the Premier league i'm sure,

We really are the pioneers when it comes to being the first to do things.

That was the record for an English club in a European competition at home.

85,512 against Bayer Leverkusen.

I suspect Real Madrid at home in a few weeks time will see that beaten.

Small club.

Of course I think you'll win but our performances haven't been reflected in recent results. We beat Brighton, totally dominated Everton at Goodison but were undone in the last 10 minutes . We walked all over Leicester but just couldn't find the net.

Prior to that we were decent against City but absolutely crud against the Gooners.

No one is keeping the wolves away, we are getting better game by game and if we go down Eddie will be around to bring us back up.

Our transfer spend in the last window was the 2nd lowest which kinds of put some perspective on things.
