Alli was st. Again. Gave the ball away for their goal and spent more time on the floor than doing anything useful. Ericsson another one who had a bad game. They were first to everything and more aggressive with it. A lucky draw for us.
Other than against Real, Dele's been treading water since the last month of last season. Sadly, he's believing the hype.Blib said:

He provided the assist for todays Goal as well as the two against Dortmund.

He needs to stop believing his own hype, stay on his feet and put a shift in. I want to watch the Deli Alli from last year.

We have a rough cut diamond in Alli & we need to show him the love .
Result wasn't great but there's some harsh criticism which doesn't match what I watched.
Megson's ideal scenario was snatch a goal and park the bus and he lucked into it earlier than he'd have probably liked. We weren't poor, we pulled them around to try and make room, we mixed it up by bringing on a second target man and whipping in crosses; they dealt with it well and deserve some credit for doing so.

Meh sorry but that’s excuses, if we can’t beat the dregs of the league, a team with no manager, we don’t deserve to win anything. We should be pulverising these guys pure and simple.
I know I should be used to it after all these years supporting them but how do we go from beating Dortmund away to struggling against minnows at home? God I hate being a Spurs fan sometimes.

I don't think the criticism is harsh at all. West Brom were first to everything yesterday. Winning the first ball, winning the second ball, they were up for it from the first whistle. Kane (and Dembele when he came on) were the only two of our players who could cope with their physicality. Alli's twiglet legs hit the deck too much and I lost count of the number of times Eriksen or Dier had the ball taken off them or plain bottled putting a foot in for the ball. Son's energy and quick feet were the only guile we had when all the slow pretty passing didn't work. Winks continues to impress. But overall we have to seriously have a word with ourselves. Beating Dortmund away and then scraping a lucky draw against a managerless team in the bottom 4 that's lost it's previous 4 games is just not good enough.

Only City seem to keep consistent performances. None of the other 'big' clubs have been keeping good performances going at big clubs when they go to some of the other smaller ones.
Yep. City are on fire at the moment but their excellence is being amplified by everyone behind them tripping over mouse st.48k said:
