If Jose the bus-meister couldn't block them out I doubt any others will manage.
I honestly think the best way to beat them is either catch them on a really off day, or to press them and beat them at their own game (and still need a large amount of luck). Maybe Chelsea can do it if they're at their best.

Much as I hate everything about the club.
Pray tell. Why?Won the lottery of being traded as a rich man's toy and eventually landed with owners who are willing to pull every trick in the book to circumvent any semblance of financial fair play (£400m sponsorship deal with a company that never makes a profit?). Yes, they play pretty football - but even having spent more money than any other club in the Premier League, they still can't consistently fill a relatively small stadium. The supporters spent years slagging off the traditional clubs who've earned the right to spend through winning stuff and making sensible financial decisions - but now they assume the right to buy their way out of trouble using un-earned money.
Whilst football has largely been about who has the most money to spend - most clubs in the EPL have earned it from footballing activities.
With the huge boost to TV money and it's equitable distribution amongst the clubs, maybe it's time to end sponsorship.
All it does is increase the money in the pot in an unbalanced way and is the chief way to circumvent FFP; without it we'd have nicer clean kit, I might even buy some again.

Not a Spurs fan then?Won the lottery of being traded as a rich man's toy and eventually landed with owners who are willing to pull every trick in the book to circumvent any semblance of financial fair play (£400m sponsorship deal with a company that never makes a profit?). Read the context! City, not Spurs.
Spurs are what I'd call a 'proper' club.

I like this idea. Or do what Barca did and give the main sponsor position on their kit to a charity. All it does is increase the money in the pot in an unbalanced way and is the chief way to circumvent FFP; without it we'd have nicer clean kit, I might even buy some again.
