Yes we all called it pre season but then we are more balanced than most.

Next season I would expect us to be better at home yes. It's not a difficult concept to grasp playing all your games away from home is more difficult than playing half your games away from home.

I dont know about that, using the LA Rams from American Football, they are doing rather well at the moment winning lots of games on the road and at 'home' though most of the players are new and journeymen
Can't compare NFL to premier league. Most rosters will turnover 1/3rd of 50+ players every year through free agency and the draft. The worst teams get to pick the best players first. There is a salary cap that all clubs have to operate within...I'd love to see that in the Prem.

It's why I probably watch more American Football than I do Football now.
It's also a franchise, not a league. So you can afford to be crap for a few years/forever and it doesn't matter.

I live a couple of hundred miles away and I'm delighted for them as well.laugh
Let's be honest - Utd dropping out of the League Cup and City staying in it can only augur well for making the League a bit more of a challenge.

Hmmmm. I'm not sure, Utd and Chelsea seem to be slowly pulling a gap on the rest of us. I think the title is long gone, Utd being distracted for longer would have been my preference.

Here is the slimmest of chances with United and Arsenal having chased down runaway leaders before, but I don’t see it happening this season.

I thought it was Feb, but agree with above Victor was immense last year and let our wing backs work their magic.

Good news Tottenham fans! Even if you lose tomorrow, you can't get any lower than the seventh place you're currently in!

Isn’t it also true that if you lose and they win they could go above you scousers?

Shhhh. They don't like to be reminded that they're currently lower down than us in the league.

I just think I’d have waited until the gap was a teeny weeny bit bigger than 3 points. Egg could arrive on face as soon as 5pm tonight. wink

Only a 5 year old would think Spurs have dominated Liverpool in Premier League history.

It’s a fantastic match and advert for the PL, although I’m biased as Liverpool are now losing.
