Fair play to Liverpool here, doing what we failed in, going toe to toe with City! You just know this ain't over yet though
100% agree, they’ve gone at them full throttle from the start. If more teams had played like this against them, they wouldn’t be running away with the league.

He looks like he wants out to. Threw his shirt down in disgust.

We did go toe to toe with City, but the problem was their toes were faster than ours. They've struggled in their last two games and now it looks like they are heading for a defeat. The wobble could be on. Just need Chelsea and Man Utd not to bottle it.

I'm so pleased that City have been beaten. Yes, Liverpool stretch their lead over us. But, they'll drop Easy points soon enough, IMO.

Yep best team won, great game. Must admit though if City had scored again the scouse thread would have been funny.

You would have witnessed a genuine meltdown - mine.

Honestly I think I may have cried.

Great game and a well deserved victory for Liverpool even if they did get a bit Spursy towards the end.

Liverpool were fantastic. Playing football as it should be played.

They did also show why they will drop silly points too.

2/3/4 is going to be really tight.

Can't knock their performance today. City weren't at their best but Liverpool were terrific.

They were great no doubt about it. They'll drop points though they have the two worst goal keepers in the league and can't decide which one to play and vdv won't solve all their defencive problems.

It was a properly entertaining game though. Liverpool, city and spurs are the only teams worth watching in this league bar arsenal but they belong on the comedy channel laugh

Hopefully with VVD those games where we drop points from winning positions will start to decrease!

If VVD had been on the pitch in place of Lovren that 3rd goal of City's doesn't go in.

I think he'll add some much needed leadership and stability when we're looking a little ropey.
