Wonderful news for the ABU's
Well I've just learned something new about the offside law. I always thought the position of the players was measured from their body (probably due to the phrase "on the shoulder of the last defender") but apparently that's not the case. Below is onside as judged by VAR last night in the Leicester game.
Something as close as that should just be umpires call.
The thing that no body seems to be talking about is the fairness of this trial, in just rolling it out for one game a round or replay they are saying 'well we are going to pick one game where referees mistakes wont count' leaving the rest as it is, how is that fair or a level playing field? should be rolled out for the whole round or not at all.
i wish they would stop fking around with the game,

The whole VAR thing has been handled really badly so far, it's first match there was a blatant handball but the goal was checked by the system. It's only being used if the referee doubts himself? just weird and an opportunity missed; either don't use it or use it to review, quickly, all goals and penalty decisions.
