I'd be more than happy with Giroud & hoping it goes through rather than Llorente.

I am questioning loaning Musonda out for 18 months to a s*** league though. What is he going to learn up there exactly? Shown flashes of quality in the little time he has been given, it is so frustrating that we do not give players like him more of a crack.

Carroll, Crouch, Lorente, Giroud.

We now only buy end of line stock from TK Maxx.
You can add Ibra to that list now apparently. I'd be happy with Giroud; scores goals and has a ton of prem experience

It's crackers. How is that going to help his development? He'd get more competitive football playing out the remaining games in the Checkertrade Trophy.

Loaning out Christensen seemed to do the trick.

He was loaned out to Munchengladbach, to play in a proper competitive league.

Carroll and Ibrahimovic? Hope we've budgeted for an expansion of the treatment rooms and more medical staff as well

Matt Law of the Telegraph has reported an £18 million deal agreed for Giroud , which if true is a great deal

He says he's on his way back to London but BBC say he's on the bench at Swansea.

Bats has gone to Dortmund, Aubameyang confirmed at gooners, so that leaves an obvious bit of the jigsaw to fall into place. Apparently they had wanted £30m, which understandably we were unwilling to pay for a second choice 31 year old. If it goes through, not the worst bit of business we've ever done, I like Giroud.

We've signed worse. Proven goal scorer, never let the gooners down yet they never kept much faith in him. We need a striker for tonight though, probably go with Hazard up top which I'm not really convinced thats the best use of him.
Still, looking forward to the game tonight , will be setting off in a bit !

Undergoing medical, so given he finished the game last night no reason it shouldn't go through, apparently they've lowered the asking to £18m.

Surely we would pull the plug on the Batshuayi deal in that case

Surely we're screwed even if Bats is available for selection?

Giroud deal done. If Moratas form continues, he could become striker no1 for the rest of the season...

£18 million for a PL proven striker who can play in the LC and FA Cup is a bargain
