Interesting to see how far the EPL and football have gone out of fashion in Britain. Used to be a major event when the winner crossed the line to the title. But the Chelsea victory today has seen little major reporting. The story was only featured midway through the mainstream TV news and is currently posted halfway down the Daily Wail website.
It's Chelsea. No one cares.

I can't believe that no one has requested the mods change the title of the thread yet. How about something like The Official Chelsea, Premier League Champions (again) Thread
Will only need changing again after the Cup Final. Leave it a couple of weeks.

Was a bit up and down but end of the season and not too fussed as long as no one gets injured.

You're champions because in 10 years under Abramorich you've spent £2 billion on players and wages whilst sustaining over 1/2 billion in losses.

...hell even small teams like Man City (according to their manager) have spent big with huge wage bills....

Congrats on the title from a Saints fan. Chelsea have been the best team by some distance this year and won't he title quietly without complaining about the referees, opposition etc. It feels like you have focused on football and being a team rather than a bunch of highly paid individuals and it's paid off.

Hope that you keep Conte and please don't take Ryan Bertrand back smile or VVD for that matter

Luckily I was the sibling that got the brains. Plus mum doesn't say very nice things about you.

That article is 4 years old. Since then we've clawed back a fair chunk of that £500m, from some very lucrative transfer dealings. Like buying David Luis for around £25m, selling him for £50m, and buying him back for around £35m much to everyone's amusement because apparently he was an error prone duffer.

Also made circa £40m on Oscar, and £20m on Mata. If Costa goes for £80m+ as is rumoured, we'll soon be in profit! hehe

Next to your new stadium you ought to build a church to Abramovitch, without him you'd be playing Forest Green next season hehe

Since Roman is Jewish I'm not sure a church would be appreciated.

But a wonderful suggestion all the same and helps us form an opinion on your mental capacity.

Nice one! I'll be watching it in a pub with my mates (one Arsenal, one Utd) near the o2 hoping it finishes in normal time. Can't miss Iron Maiden!
