Just back from the match. Pretty straightforward, Barca up next.
That game will be pretty straight forward too. hehe
Stupidly (?) I am feeling quite optimistic about tomorrow night. 2-1 I think - where the away goal will be our undoing.

I think we will be better than many expect, but still not good enough. I'm going 1-2. Can't wait, in the West Lower. I think Messi's wife is about to give birth. Would be handy if that's today/tomorrow and he doesn't travel. Though I quite want to see him in action.

I like the way that your optimism doesn't extend to us actually winning the tie hehe

There's optimism, and then there's being delusional.

Seeing it like that feels worse now! If we can avoid conceding we may have a chance - we can get a draw there. But it is difficult to see them not scoring.

I would like to see a Morata hat-trick tonight. Do we have any injury issues?

Who saw us beating them over 2 legs in 2012 when we won the UCL?

Yes, Bakayoko is fit.

I'm the one that'll need oxygen and deep breathing.

Never fear. If we win, great. If we don't it's to be expected by most people.

We've come a long way in the halcyon days of winning the ZDS cup.

I think we need to concentrate on Top 4 in the league and the FA Cup.

That's the reason we will be knocked out by Barca and I'm sticking to it.

The thing with Barca is no matter how big a lead you take back there you will still not feel comfortable. Look at PSG last year!

At this stage, I'll take any result with them not scoring, even 0-0. Then we're still in the tie, and a goal there leaves them needing 2.

I won't be having money on it though!

Everyone, as it was on Sky back then. Still find it hard to believe the result you got over there ... Torres in the last minute and Neville's orgasm.

Even then though, who thought Torres was going to miss? smile

He'd missed one at Man U that season, rounded the keeper and put it wide! Was a great finish in Barcelona though. 1st goal was brilliant too, Lampard's reverse pass to Rammi who lobbed the keeper.

To be 2-0 down at the Nou camp and down to 10 men, and get a draw, is one of the great performances by an English club in Europe. A rival for Man U being 2 down away to Juve in the 99 semi and winning 2-3.

Stats at the end of that tie, over 2 legs they had 80% of possession, 90% of shots on target, 95% of attempts on goal. But we had 60% of the goals hehe

I think you may need 7 or 8 tonight judging by the performance of the Ref in that PSG game in Barcelona last season.

I hope you win tonight .

Good luck.

I am disappointed the game is not on normal Tv - including Sky. BT Sport is an expensive package - do they do a one nighter?

If only I could stream it somehow! No one seems to know how.
