Doesn't work like that any more.
If arsenal will the Europa, Chelsea/spurs/LFC/utd win ECL and come fifth.

Do we get 6 in the ECL?

In the Nou camp we might get one or 2 chances and we'll need to take them. Today we had about 20 and fked them up. Giroud is not nearly good enough, Everton quality at best. He wasn't 1st choice at Arsenal and they are worse than we are. Moratta should have been sent off. He's a fking ill disciplined tt.

Cant be bothered to check right now, but I believe so. Something similar happened in Spain a couple of years back.

How on earth did that become a close 2-1. Should have buried them in the first half. City would have put them to the sword, we are just content to get 3 points. We had the opportunity to win easily by 4,5 or 6 but failed again just like the Stoke game where 5-0 didn't even come close to what the score should be. We're not ruthless enough and yes, Morata total knob.

On a more positive note though Hazard looks a lot more happy playing in a role where he influences the game. Playing with a striker with Hazard picking the ball up facing the opposition is the way to get the best from him. Unfortunately I think he'll most likely play without a striker on Wednesday again mad

The mentality isn't right. Guess the blame lies with Conte.

But if he's to blame this season he has to get all the credit for last year's league win. I'd give him another go next year if he can prove he's committed and will focus on the team rather than whinging about budget.

I agree - as long as he never, ever plays Hazard up top on his own again!

This morning's Times reports that Abramovic could be included in tough sanctions against Putin's cronies.

Shirley not! Your beloved owner is a fine, upstanding exemplar of all that's good in modern Russia. His vast wealth accrued solely by his own honest toil, grit and determination.

It's disgraceful for anyone to suggest otherwise........

Plenty of other rich owners out there, although I'd draw the line at an offshore tycoon who got rich by pillaging UK gold reserves causing untold harm to this country.

Trouble is with tonight. We'll have to create at least half a dozen to a dozen chances to score one. We're just not deadly enough! Has been our main problem all season.

On the other hand we might make one chance all evening and win 1-0

I shan't be holding my breath though

After the Palace game, it's difficult to imagine us hitting a 100% success rate on the chances/conversion ratio!

I shall be approaching the game with hope but not too much in the way of expectation.

I'll be going in with little hope or expectation.

Unfortunately I'm on a flight tonight taking off at 8:30 so I'll know the half time score and have to wait 2 hours for the result.
