You’ve got to be concerned about just how much stomach Roman has for the fight in the coming years because this is going to take serious cash to fix.

Chelsea first team on paper should be at least a top four side.

A new manager, fresh ideas and I think the turn around is on.

You don't need £300m - £400m spent.

I'll love it if Huddersfield are still in the PL at the end of the season biggrin

Got a tough run in, need today's results to go our way, this is a good start!

Glad we suddenly remembered we were playing the team in 18th. What's the betting Giroud will be back on the bench for the next game?

Marcus Alonso has been banned for 3 games after his stamp on Shane Long.

He can't really complain can he.

Soton can, should have been sent off in the game and then banned for 3 - that may have impacted the result and their survival (and given us a good laugh)

Well a win at Burnley, with Southampton playing dreadfully at Leicester. It's all set up for a humiliating defeat!

Have to say, when Alvaro is thru one on one, it's a good time to get up and go to the loo or make a cuppa. It's not as if you're going to miss a goal. Missed 4 at Arsenal, and last nights was utterly dreadful. It's easy to say I could have scored that, but I could have scored that.

Last night, again....was obvious what the main issue is with the team. Scoring goals. We played very well IMO and the game should have been much more comfortable than it was. We should have probably been 3-0 up when Burnley equalised.

We look so much better when we have a player who can hold the ball up (Giroud). Shows how much Diego was a huge part of our title win last season.

On the basis we're fragile this season I was watching yesterday's semi from the perspective of who I'd rather lose to in the final. Sounds horribly negative I know but I'd hate to lose to Spurs in the final and also galling for them to win a trophy, so pleased Utd won.

Obviously we've got to get past Southampton first, which for us is no easy task. No doubt we'll go 1-0 up, cling on for the last 20 minutes before conceding a late equaliser.

This. We'll score quite early, miss 15 great chances for a 2nd, let in an equaliser in on about 75 mins, almost lose the game, regroup at full time and win 2-1 after ET.

Followed by losing to Utd so is there any point?

I know, makes you wonder. I just hope we might do to them what Arsenal did to us last season. I'll worry about it if we win today.

I thought the population of Southampton was bigger than this?

Crap game so far.
