80% possession and your striker has about 3 touches rolleyes I hope Gonzo has a high boredom threshold, he'll need it.

Couldn't understand the 1st VAR decision re-starting with a bounce up to the keeper, surely if not a penalty then it was a corner or goal-kick.

Was at the game today. Credit to the Wednesday fans , they were superb all the way through.

The VAR decisions were very difficult to follow so I look forward to seeing the highlights, so I can understand what actually happened !

Apparently because the ref blew for a penalty before the ball went out of play, it's a drop ball.

Yep. As the ref blew for a penalty the game had to restart from where the incident took place. Even if this wasn't the rule, I don't understand people saying it should have been a corner. It was a foul on Ampadu. The striker kicked the back of his foot.

Well United in the cup & Hudson-Odoi staying for now.

I'm sure we will be seeing a lot of Hudson-Odoi on the pitch between now & the end of the season. He's no doubt been told we weren't letting him go this window & he got some sort of assurance about game time. If he gets the game time, he'll be going nowhere in the summer either. Glad he'll be given a proper chance rather than a few late substitute run outs, which frankly show you nothing.

Happy CHO is staying, would be a shame for such a quality lad to leave - but only if he gets some decent game time; otherwise we'd be better of loaning him.

You can't blame CHO for using this situation to his advantage. It's the jolt the hierarchy need. We have so many talented young players, it's silly we don't utilise them more. I'd rather see the youth make up squad numbers than a bang average squad filler player brought in for £20m.

I'm not sure loaning is the answer with him. I've never been convinced of the value of loaning the kids out to struggling or lower premier league sides as a forward what will he get experience wise? RLC is the only one who really seems to have gained anything but he's now what 22?? I don't see any of the other kids have kicked on. I know Mason Mount is getting good reviews at Derby, but he still has to step up to the Premier league standard. Tammy Abraham is scoring for fun at Villa, but clearly the management don't think he's ready for the Premier League, otherwise why not bring him back?

If CHO is the real deal, use him. There are more than enough games between now & the end of the season. Cut him loose.

How are these young players going to get premier league minutes if you don’t play them ?

I don’t think think Chelsea have any intention of bringing young talent through to the first team & why should they ? They seem to be doing pretty much ok with the way They are currently operating.

As I say the perception is that CHO is the real deal... let him loose in the 1st team. Willian & Pedro have not been setting the world on fire. The risk I would suggest is less with a forward than a midfielder or defender. We've been lacking creativity, what is there to lose??

I think loans may work for some ….. RLC found his feet on loan as did Christensen to a certain extent.

Pedro/Wllian will need replacing eventually. Seems silly to let one of our prized assets go.

Mephis Depay knows what he's on about....

Memphis Depay: "Lyon is a big club, but not one of the 5 best in Europe, I want to go to a club like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester City, PSG or Bayern. I want to go to a city and a club that suits me, to a team that really wants to play football.” (Helden)

He missed Liverpool and Arsenal out.

Times they are a changing - said some 60's folk musician.

I suspect he didn't mention Liverpool and Arsenal as they haven't won the league in 28 (twenty eight) and 15 (fifteen) years respectively.

Anyone know what the story is with CHO tonight? Plays well Sunday, scores a nice goal, we keep him... and then he doesn't play, not even on the bench.
