Just hoping Ajax or Barca win it. And City for the league please.
Tricky one. Spoke to a Chelsea friend who's Dutch and a fervent Rotterdam supporter but Tuesday he was supporting Ajax on the basis of "country before club". I used to be like that when Chelsea were nowhere near Europe so I'd always support the English teams. Doesn't seem so easy now but with the charming chaps on the other forum threads I really should get behind them. Sparkyhd said:

Not a tricky one at all for me.I excused our 2nd half performance at Anfield on Sunday due to our unfair schedule and Liverpool only playing at home the Tuesday. Last nights 2nd half performance was dreadful. Complacency at it's finest. 4-1 up, oh we'll just coast to the end of the game. 2 quick goals, oh st, we better sort this out.
Positives was the 1st half performance and that stunning goal with Pedro rounding it off.
Any way - on to the Semi's, I'm sure we'll be more switched on for that.

Back in the day fans would have been anxious during the second half but last night everyone around me was laughing. Sarri's broken our spirits so badly we just see the team as a bad joke. Positives was the 1st half performance and that stunning goal with Pedro rounding it off.

A bad joke that can still win the Europa League and finish in the top 4......;-)
Yes, it is quite scary that if this happens it will paper over the cracks as this years display/formation/Sarriball has been so annoying and frustrating to watch. Perhaps it's just me having a short memory and getting used to being winners that makes it so disappointing, not so long ago top half would have been a result - how times change With the definite possibility of a Chelsea v Arsenal final, I find it ridiculous that uefa don't have a contingency for such circumstance where an alternative final venue can be used instead of about 40,000 fans travelling half way around the world at massive expense ( if the real fans can afford it) when they come from within 10 miles of each other Surely Wembley isn't fully booked with kids party or something Also the tree- huggers will have a field day with all the unnecessary carbon emissions
