Great to see the two best young sides in Europe go head to head.

Big game v Valencia tonight. If either team win they're through to the knock out stages....

Could have won it yet probably should have lost it, utterly ridiculous game tonight! Great penalty save from a joke decision...not sure I can blame Kepa for the cross afterwards either as it looked too high for him.

I don't like to moan about referees either but censored me, probably the worst we've had since Ovrebo. Didn't matter if we won the ball cleanly, as long as a Valencia player hit the deck he was giving a free kick. The Kante-Gabriel 50/50 was the worst of the lot!

The Kante yellow card was absolutely ridiculous.

Well that was just mental. Could have won or lost 12-10. Great pen save from Kepa, then misjudges the cross for their 2nd!!

Assuming Ajax beat Lille, they are on 10 and us & Valencia on 8. If we beat Lille we finish on 11. And no matter what happens between Ajax & Valencia, we're thru. If Ajax & Valencia draw, we finish on 11 level with Ajax and finish top of the group on the head to head. If Ajax win we finish 2nd behind them. If Valencia win, we finish on 11 with them and they win the group on the head to head.

It's exciting to watch but we definitely play too open for my liking, especially when we went 2-1 up.

Ref was poor. Never a penalty and a joke VAR didn't overturn it. Can't blame Kepa for their 2nd really, I don't think many keepers would have stopped that lucky cross. Kante yellow was a joke too - there was also an incident where we were on the attack, Kante clearly wins the ball and we're in a dangerous position to try and score. But no - play is pulled back and a foul is awarded to Valencia, despite the foul actually being on Kante.

Annoying, joke of a ref., where have we seen that before. laugh

Just be glad Chelsea got 4 points from the games against Ajax, it should've been just 1 (at best).

WHU today. I assume Michy will start due to Tammy's hip injury.

Would be nice to see Giroud get some game time - I'm sure he'd thrive on Reece's crosses.....

I don’t think hunk he’s got one in him tbh , He was dreadful against the Spuds last week .

Is Abraham definitely out ? The radio seemed to suggest it wasn’t too bad .

Ffs, they were utter garbage last week against Spuds. Plenty of chances early on to be 2 or 3 up but didn't happen, 2nd half was really poor. In the end, a fair result.

Not a great display. Very impressed by James & pulisic early on. Giroud was a passenger. Part of the learning process.

I was a little worried after Wednesday and travelling back from Spain. Thought we'd be a bit below par and we were.

I think it just goes to show, although I'm loving this season so far with the youngster, we certainly do need squad improvements.
