Where do you think Thiago Silva plays ?
I’m well aware where he plays but he’s 35 and not a solution to the problems.

They were dire today. No organisation or energy. Not even vaguely competitive. They may not have beaten Liverpool but could’ve at least given them a game.

I was actually quite impressed with the first half defensive display, prior to the sending off. Thought we looked solid, Zouma seems to be in control.

Trouble with the Georginho style of pen, it looks good when it goes in, but pathetic when it doesn't.

Liverpool were totally dominant in the first half and we barely had any chances. They sat back and hoped for a mistake. It’s not what they should be doing right now given they’ve spent £200m on a range of attacking players.

That was as comfortable a game as I remember having against you lot, but there is a lot of talented players in your side, and I can see you doing well this season.

Just upgrade the keeper, god knows how the worlds most expensive keeper becomes crap so quick

And Werner looks class, we were fortunate Fabinho was superb today

Kepa is shot. Christensen what was he thinking.

What is it with this playing out from the back when all it does it put pressure on your defence in the final third? Especially against Liverpool who press hard & high.

Werner is a class act

Zouma was decent & Timori I though did fine when he came on.

Interesting piece in the Guardian today suggesting that any Chelsea goalkeeper would struggle under Lampard's style of play.

Havertz should have 2 assists this game but Lampards little mate Mount and CHO couldn’t finish them.

Havertz with 2 goals and an assist now, I know it’s Barnsley but I’m so glad he’s finally showing what he can do.

Edit: a bloody hatrick and and assist before getting subbed off, really hope that boosts his mood for the next games!

Cabellero has saved a lot of shots Kepa wouldn’t have got near. Can’t wait for Mendy to be announced.

Petr Cech is younger than Cabellero. Just saying.

I realised that the other day and was amazed!

An absolute credit to his professionalism, Cabellero has been solid when we’ve needed him recently. Cech could definitely do a shift in goal and provide more confidence than Kepa does hehe

Good win tonight though, Chilwell looked promising when he came on, still feels odd seeing Thiago Silva in a Chelsea shirt though smile

Being a goalkeeper must be a truly thankless task. A striker could have a shocker of a game, but if the winner rebounds in off his arse no one will care. A keeper could pull of a string of brilliant saves, but one mistake and he's a laughing stock.

Kepa has made more than just natural mistakes though.

Kepa I'm afraid is shot. Once the confidence goes it doesn't come back. I can't think of a keeper that has gone through such a prolonged poor spell & then recovered.

A fan on talkSPORT last night was saying Chelsea fans have thrown Kepa under a bus. I was just waiting for one of the hosts of the show to say "fortunately the bus slipped under his body so no harm done" but no one did!

Need a solid performance today - a declaration of intent. Lots of good talent starting, so needs to gel and do better vs set peices or questions will be asked of coaching.
