Same mistakes, every single game. What are they doing in training?

What the hell is Kepa doing between the posts? Another dreadful performance from him.
Mendy injured on international duty but would’ve picked Willy in available to be honest.

I'd have picked myself ahead of him. He's done

Worrying performance. No direction, no plan or identity even. Yes clean sheet but zero threat.

We looked pretty solid against a very good side. A point in the opening match against them is fine. I admit we didn't create much.

Must be the first time Lampard has played for a goalless draw.

He's a better option 3 than Kepa; nothing simpler than that imho. Unlikely to get used, but a safe option...

Jesus, the fans got a lucky break today, by not being allowed in! That was complete dirge from both sides. Still, two clean sheets on the trot.

United's tactics took us by surprise today. Not using their designated penalty and choosing instead to stop us having one was a bold move that paid off.

4-0 away at Krasnador flattered us, we weren't that dominant. I think that's Geoginio's last pen, Timo absolutely smashed his in.

3 clean sheets on the trot!

Krasnodar didn't look a bad side in fairness and I thought Ziyech played well. Not particularly looking forward to the Burnley game with Ashley Barnes flopping at the sight of one our defenders...whilst Dyche will complain about diving.

Did see a stat that Mendy has kept as many clean sheets for Chelsea (in October) as Kepa has since mid-January.

I've heard that even some United fans said that he's better than Vd Beek.....

Impressive performance today, Mendy is already looking like a bargain.

Yup, solid defensively and great going forward - could easily have been more. Not a swashbuckling attack force, just a really well controlled performance. Shame Pulisic picked up an injury pre game but having someone like Werner to come in shows we've got good squad depth now - at least in the forward areas

Don't get too excited, as much as I prefer this shape Burnley are rock bottom.

Minnows in the week about mid table at best.

I do think this is a good sign of things to come and squad rotation is really working well for Frank.

Although this is exactly the type of game where previously we'd go 1-0 up with 75% possession, then they'd equalise with their only shot on target. At least the season is actually going to continue though.
