Perhaps. Although where we'd be today, 13 years later, is just conjecture. After all, when Spuds were on the verge of meltdown, and Robert Maxwell has to prop them up with a loan, probably stolen from the Mirror pensioners, who would have thought they'd be building a mega stadium today? Who knows, one day they might actually win something.
You keep saying this over and over despite it not having a grain of truth to it. Every time you get proved wrong you leave it a week or two then say it again.

You are wrong twig, completely and utterly wrong. I think youve actually peddled this so much now you actually believe it and use it as some strange way to justify what has happened to achieve the success at chelsea.

£1m loan from Maxwell to Scholar to prevent Spuds defaulting on the instalment owed to Barcelona for the purchase of Lineker.

Hazard on the bench, Cahill starts. Is it too late to unsuccessfully appeal his ban so it can get extended?

Well earned point in the end. Kochelny was great today, hardly gave us a sniff. No complaints with the red card, he could have gone for the overhead kick. Shouldn't be doing that in a crowded penalty area, definitely endangering the opponent.

Agree fair result. Luiz played himself into trouble so no complaints about that although I think Oliver had a terrible game other than that

Not too dissimilar to the poor challenges by Dier and Vertonghen in our game was it?

My main gripe is yes it's a red but there is no consistency. Noble has got away with the same earlier in the season and Gueye against us too.

Cannot understand why Kolasinac wasn't given a second yellow either. We didn't play well today and a draw was the right result, but I agree it is frustrating

The ref got it right. Just because others got it wrong isn't really important. Next time you get stopped for speeding and let off with a warning, will you be saying to the officer "there's no consistency, my brother got done for less!"

So we agree; it was a loan to Irving Scholar and not to Tottenham Hotspur PLC.

For the benefit of Tottenham Hotspur. Dress it up however eases your conscience, but Spuds benefited from money stolen from pensioners. And as for Ascaymen "there isn't a grain of truth" claim.......rofl

Assuming that Scholar bought Lineker for his own personal use, then yes.

There is only one person "dressing up" the facts to suit their agenda. Everything in your original sentence is factually incorrect.

Thoughts on tomorrows game against Forest?
I am a Forest fan but have the upmost respect for Chelsea & what they have achieved in recent years.
