All that needs to happen is for Chelsea and City to tell UEFA they are not going to Turkey but will be playing at Wembley. If UEFA want to bring the cup along then hooray, otherwise they can give it to Real again!

Yes, because unilaterally breaking a signed contract is that easy and never comes with very serious legal implications.

I think 8000 fans at a venue such as St Andrews in Birmingham would be a neutral and fair location & also have a decent atmosphere.

Going to Turkey is nuts.

Edit to add: Give it to Turkey next year when hopefully they can fill the stadium.

Red list country, risk to fans, realistically impossible for fans to travel etc etc. PR disaster in the making for UEFA, they just need a little push behind the scenes to do the sensible thing

Footballers are notoriously superstitious and feed off confidence. I just hope that a few of the Citeh players go into the CL Final believing they are beaten before it starts. Unlikely, given they are all international superstars who will have lost and won lots of big games before, but you never know.
