West Ham win tonight certainly removes some pressure for our remaining games. WBA will be the tough game.

Spurs didn't bottle it but they didn't win it either. After the cup semi Jenas was the apologist and tonight it was Rednapp.

Spurs fans need to stop conjuring up ways that define Spurs as the best team; they're not. The best teams find a way to win.

Can everyone stop going on about how wonderful Spurs are, they're second best.

I think Costa is gone.... & Lukaku is coming, together with a few others including Sanchez. Yet to be convinced by Lukaku mind.

I'm sure there will be an ever increasing presence from there. Expect Ake, Christensen, Chabolah all to be up to it. Loftus-Cheek seems to not be quite there. Abraham will get a loan spell at a Premier League club. Traore may get another year at Ajax.

There is enough talent there it's getting them the game time to fully develop. Next year with Champions League fixtures should be easier.

I think we'd rather continue with our policy of knowing what it takes to win trophies and having players that can hold their nerve on the final lap.

I hope we bring Tomas Kallas back. Only played 1 game, the 2-0 win at Anfield when Gerrard slipped, and he was my man of the match.

Don't think he'll make it with us. He's now 24 & playing Championship football. What sort of reviews has he been getting at Fulham?

I've never been that impressed with Lukaku. His stats look impressive but he gets lots of chances to me and should score more than he does ...

....clearly possession isn't everything .... and when you show it against the top 6 even more stark.

The other thing this shows is that should we win the title it's been by steamrollering the weaker teams, not beating the top teams. Which to me shows we need a lot of strengthening if we are to compete in the CL next year.

But as Liverpool have found out, getting up for the big games & beating the top teams doesn't win you trophies.

Finding ways to win whether you are "up for it" or not wins trophies. You can't fall asleep in the CL group stages just because you aren't playing at the Bernabeu.
