Cheers; at this stage I'm glad it doesn't really 'matter' in terms of qualification

If you're going to put the ball in your own net you might as well do it in style

So, left my Russian style hat with vintage Chelsea crest badge (that I've had for 45 years) on the bench at Barons Court station on way home from Athletico game. Went on ebay to see if I could find the same badge for sale....£35 yikes

So annoyed with myself.

Why do teams always start their revival against us? We could carry on playing as we are all weekend and we won't score.

Not looking great is it; WH are really at it, not allowing any space to get through. With the amount of the ball we're having, I can see us getting through eventually, be it a nearpost scramble or a 30yd worldie. We need to move the ball a bit faster and stretch them to make gaps

Because he's ineffectual. Bit like the roof at Wembley, gives the impression of being able to do more.

Impotent performance. Lots of fancy Dan passing, flicks and step overs on the edge of the box that lead to nothing.

The passing was awful today. Got what we deserved.

Wasn't great was it. Amount of passes that went straight to WH was piss poor, and the few clear cut chances we had were wasted. We just seemed to be short of pace & ideas. Onwards.... :/

Oh well, it was fun whilst it lasted.

On the flip side, Barca fans will have wanted to avoid us too.

I predict Conte will be going as well, wonder who’s next on the merry go round? I wonder if Abramovich is taking note of Citehs transfer policy.

What, spending zillions?

Surely Roman's done his duty and we can't expect him to compete with an Arab state?

Indeed. Taking on an oil rich country is a bit much, even for RA.

What we need to do is be better at identifying the good players in our own ranks, like Mo Salah and Kevin DeBruyne.
