Boehly has no plan.

A few years of farting about beckons.
Compared to Boehly, Abramovich looked like a conservative and careful owner. It’s does go to prove billionaires are idiots. Their success has made them full of hubris. Look at Musk did a prime example.

He was ok at Brighton, de Zerbi is much better.

Yes he hasn’t been helped by the recruitment however many of last seasons team are still there and he’s made them all worse players, to a man.

Tuchel should never have been sacked. That was the first error but appointing Potter was a massive gamble on a manager who hadn’t done that much to be honest.
de Zerbi has done OK at Brighton, building on the foundations put in place by Potter, but he hasn't exactly set the world on fire elsewhere and who knows how he'd cope with the Boehley led chaos at Chelsea.

Agree that Tuchel should have been kept though

More sackings this season than any other PL season.

And there could be more.

It has been an odd PL season. So many teams are underperforming and not happy with their management.

Potter not to blame? Who else sits on the side line for 90 minutes, trains the team, gets them fired up to beat a team like Southampton and Everton? Although I have wondered if we have had anyone for the last 6 months.

Sadly as much as I like to see English manager do well, Potter was out of his depth, the staff working for him out of there depth and I think this owners also clueless, although I think he's learnt quite quickly what owning a football club is all about now.

They must have a plan to bring someone in, we have a CL game in 10 days.

I see a massive thrashing coming.

I don't see anyone obvious with the authority and experience to pull everyone together and set out how the team should play.

Not even sure who the senior players are at the moment.

Thrashing is definitely on the cards

Zidane please, seeing as Deschamps has signed new contract.

But I suspect Poch.

That's a fair forecast actually. London club, bags of money, useless owner...

Never seen so many square pegs in round holes, and with most players playing out of position it’s no wonder we are in the the position we are, Having a Small squad cannot be the excuse …

Investing 500 million but no money in the kitty to keep Rudiger?

It feels like Potter has had to play the new guys given to him ready or not, I hope that’s not the case, and he has lost the job on his own merit (or lack of) rather than being fired for following the “guidance” of those above

Surely they need to appoint an interim until the end of the season to ensure we aren’t relegated before looking at permanent options? Selecting someone now is just desperation rather than finding the best coach. I’d quite happily see JT and RDM take over for the last 9 games.

Do you really think you'll be relegated on 38 points? Even if you lost all remaining games I think 38 will be enough to keep you up. Realistically 1 win or 2 draws is the absolute maximum you'll need to guarantee staying up.

Never quite got that point of view, no he hasn’t but he’s come very close. Can’t see it though, he has always said the only London club he’d go to would be Spurs, but I suppose a tempting 10mil can change your outlook

I don't think the owner has learnt anything about what owning a football club is all about now.....

He's lurching from one self inflicted disaster to another.

He should sack himself.

It’s unlikely but looking at our form and upcoming fixtures, I don’t see where those points are coming from. This team has fallen apart quite dramatically and couldn’t beat anyone comfortably.

I don't disagree mate but you'll win one of those games somehow, or you'll grab a couple of draws with other teams missing chances.

You'll probably end up on about 45 points or something, even with no new manager coming in until the summer.

I think we'll go for Potter but can't imagine him coming until the summer, he'd be mental to come to us at the minute.

With a squad full of highly paid internationals the biggest thing you need is someone with a strong personality.

With an owner who appears to have a fragile ego, the last thing you need is someone with a strong personality.
