Much more improved - got the ball off of them and never gave it back.
- Hazard should have had 100000000 assists today. Completed more backheels than most players had passes, and is proof that stats don't mean everything. The best player in the league.
- Moses coming back has been really good for us. Seems to be a better player.
- We need a real backup striker. Conte doesn't seem to trust Bats, and it shows.
- Christensen is fantastic. Always nice to see a classy composed defender who uses positioning and ability as opposed to brute force to get out of situations. Ampadu getting time is great as well. Would have loved to have seen him as a holding mid though.

How have we only won that 3-1. Pedro should have had 4. Can someone take Batsuyai aside and explain the offside law to him
A good win never the less. United and City both had tough games there and we made it look p155 easy. Which is annoying as we're as capable as City this season on our day - we're just too inconsistent. We seem to struggle after UCL games and international breaks this season. sir humphrey appleby said:
My daughter was one of the kids doing the penalty shoutout at half time, saints number 4. It was her 9th birthday as well " best birthday ever" apparently!
All of the Chelsea fans and stewards were fantastic, very friendly and helpful.
I hope you do well for the rest of the season.
That was great to see on the day. We were even cheering when the saints kids scored! All of the Chelsea fans and stewards were fantastic, very friendly and helpful.

Some of the reactions from the kids when the ball crossed the line were fantastic. Great work from all involved.

Thought Bakayoko looked better.
Anyone else get irritated with Willian?
Lot of flicks and twists and turns but slows the attack down and nothing ever results from his efforts.
Time wasting by Southampton was unbelievable!
I wouldn't get too irritated with him if I were you - you've a lot to thank him for over the last few seasons ...Anyone else get irritated with Willian?

Ampedu started shakily, got booked in first minute, but seemed to settle down and had a good game. But in the 2nd half, the performance of the team was so poor, I think I could have looked good.
Looking forward to the semi. Anyone go to the 1998 Arsenal semis. Lost 2-1 at Highbury, then led 3-0 at the Bridge and were cruising. Then Bergkamp scored with 10 to go and another goal would have put us out on away goals. Very tense ending.

Yes! Back when I could actually get tickets Remember being in the East stand, enjoying a fair bit of 'banter' with the gooners Good times...trackdemon said:

Couldn't make the game last night.
If you went what did you think of Ethan Ampadu?
Is he the real deal?
Speaking of deals, it’d be nice if you actually paid for him. Can’t believe one of the biggest clubs in the world financially still hasn’t handed over a bean six months after signing him. I hope when the tribunal eventually sits that your finally forced to stump up accordingly. If you went what did you think of Ethan Ampadu?

Are you really Robin Hood? You don't get to be one of the biggest clubs in the world if you keep handing out money.

Sorry, I don’t normally partake in drive-by trolling but it does seem a little mean that you haven’t given little Exeter any cash for him at all. Not even a goodwill down payment whilst the authorities work out a final figure.

Its Chelsea, why would you expect anything less? Sorry, I don’t normally partake in drive-by trolling but it does seem a little mean that given little Exeter any cash for him at all. Not even a goodwill down payment whilst the authorities work out a final figure.

I believe there is a formula that is used in cases like this based upon the time and resources a smaller club has invested in a young player during his time with them so undoubtedly Chelsea will have a base figure that they could pay over even if its substantially different to what is being claimed by Exeter City.
It’s sad especially when the elite clubs TV revenues are jumping by tens of millions of £££’s almost every 3 years.
