Yes I saw that but it appears that they just agreed to rotate on a 5 yearly basis. He'll still be part of the approvals process even if another clown takes the lead.
That assumes the club will be in business in 5 years of course. Once ffp kicks in, Clearlake will run away.

8 games left. Looking at the fixtures I doubt there will be more than 3 wins. So I reckon, they’ll get another 12 points.

Difficult to see any way forward really. Maybe going to sell James and Gallagher to balance the books and probably waste, sorry 'invest' the money in some more £80m erratic prospects who have sporadically done well in the Estonia paper boys league or similar

Poch making increasingly odd statements and expect that he will be gone at the end of the season if not before.

What a mess frown

Yep a massive mess and a huge laughing stock. Caicedo and Fernandez are ste too. The problem is which manager would be mad enough to take the job? Nagelsmann was right, it’s a mess with no structure. We have no spine of a team, a few good players and zero organisation.

We are a mess of a team and a club at the moment but also the whole of football is in a mess in my opinion. We seem to speak more of financial fair play/ points deduction/ ownership take overs than what happens on the pitch. Bring back the days when it was about football and getting the win that makes your weekend sweeter. Couldn’t give a stuff who’s got the most money, we’ve been there and every dog has its day.

You can't balance the books and spend the money.....

Certain clubs are being held accountable for their actions. That's not football being in a mess, quite the opposite.

Those days are long gone. It’s a business now, more than ever. With idiot businessmen thinking they are better at player recruitment than football experts. It’s a vehicle for advertising and debt consolidation. Sadly Chelsea have been bought by the biggest idiots.

You might want to have a check up on how Ken Bates worked.

Could be worse - could be owned by a criminal making money from dodgy insider trading hehe

If we've spent a billion quid, and finish 12th, or lower, and we fail to meet ffp criteria, I think it'll be entirely reasonable for the team that finishes 18th to feel very angry. Without spending a billion quid, we might have finished 18th and saved them from the drop. By staying up, we'll be making hundreds of millions of pounds that we will be making by cheating.

I really cannot see any other option for punishment other than relegation, given the way we've behaved in the transfer market, should we fail to meet ffp.

Seems pretty clear to me that to have any chance of meeting ffp, Galllagher & James must be sold, maybe Stirling to KSA too, Poch cannot be sacked regardless of how woeful he is, and we have to draw a line under any further spending.

Poch supposedly has a good rep with bringing young players through.......he clearly will need to spend a lot more time at the academy then, as that's clearly where he's going to have to build from, not the transfer market.

Interesting times ahead.....

Even if you were top of the league, you'd still be in breach of PSR. This must have been known to Boehly and Clearwater when they were spending the money; I can't believe that people capable of amassing such wealth, didn't bother to read (or understand the rules) or couldn't count. Unless it was all baked in and they were expecting a points deduction but think that buying all the young players now will still see them in profit, given future transfer inflation? Maybe they have just been watching Citeh and think that they can also do whatever they like without consequence hehe

It's hard to believe that any club can't employ someone who can use a spreadsheet to work out whether they will breach FFP or not... Can only assume that they're trying to push it right to the wire and have made some stupid assumptions on European football / cup runs / league position / shirt sales / winning the lottery or whatever.

Clearlake and the club only have themselves to blame for the current mess. If we get fined / points deduction / relegation it will be down to their own stupidity
