I’ll not condemn them just yet, but that was disappointing.

Rumour mill of course going into overdrive but to be fair, who is there out there that’s a) any good and b) any good? We know where bringing unknowns gets us and Warnocks shown it’s taken his experience and man management to get this lot firing on all however many they’ve got on a good day with a tail wind.

Never dull is it?

The noise coming out the fans who went suggests it was even more grim than the score line makes it seem but thrashings off play off hopefuls is the same as Warnock received when he just arrived so it’s not a write off yet I don’t think.

There is equally however no evidence of anything to look forward to but I’m going to Watford on Saturday so we’ll see if he’s learned anything about what he’s got.

Oddly entertaining 0-0 and certainly something you wouldn’t have bet on at the start of the game. Utterly toothless in that guise but suggests we’re not in total free fall

Dragged myself to my first game in months, with expectations kept low, so the result was a nice surprise. Blackburn were truly dreadful though, the worst performance from a visiting team I’ve seen in years.

I was down there with the nine year old who usually is down in the bar playing on the PlayStation but he wouldn’t leave his seat yesterday!

Big question is will it start a revival? Looking forward to Boro on Friday night now - similar league position to Blackburn and hopefully they’re going to go into it with a bit more optimism than they have previous games.
