Said a few games back Mignolet is st and was told no he's got much better.. yeah right laugh

It's weird because I love watching you attack but what I can't figure out is that you could put my mum in charge of that team and she would tell you the back 4 and keeper needs binning.

Why can't Klopp see that? confused
Most of us have seen it for the last 2 years but he puts in one stormer & the fanboys forget easily. He is not in the top 20 keepers in the league

This is the second time this season our head has completely gone.

I'll say now any criticism Klopp get's is fully deserved, but I am not for changing - just get your hand in your pocket!!!

A save that Mignolet wouldn't have made. Not surprised our front 6 look a bit demoralised it's like playing with your bootlaces tied together as a handicap.

I like Klopp, I think he's pretty honest, he plays the game in the right spirit and the right way - but Christ, why can't he SEE how bad his defensive players are at this level? It's incredible to be honest. Maureen may be an arse and pragmatic as fk but he has the Man U defence better than it has been for a season or two ...
Klopp said only the other week that he was fed up with players making the same mistakes. So I don't think its accurate to keep saying "Klopp doesn't see it". He's not stupid - he clearly does. Why things aren't changing is anyone's guess...

It's a lesson in what a complete team can do sadly frown

If we had any kind of defence we may have had a chance, but ( and I will get flamed for this ) I don't think Klopp has a clue about defending.

Most goals conceded away from home this season. Yay, we're top at something!

Why things aren't changing? Here's why.

It is because Klopp does fk all about the defence. He doesn't hire a defence coach, he says he coaches them but we see fk all improvement in TWO years, he doesnt want to utilise a DM, he doesn't change formation to 3 at the back. And apparently there is only one CB that would help us when the transfer market is open.

Klopp is at the root of the problems sadly. His stubborness and his short-sightedness, is and will be for the forseeable future, our undoing.

And you know all that for a fact do you? Of course not. None of us do. I'll certainly moan and complain that our defending is crap but not about the reasons why, when I have no idea what those reasons are.

He sees it. As he has seen it for over a season. And not fixed it. I'm not sure he knows how to fix it. His tenure at Liverpool will be doing nothing to enhance his reputation as he's not made any great progress in some key areas. It's looking more and more like his "Switzerland" comment is reality.

We don't score from set pieces and concede at them IMO because we're a poorly organised side of physically small players. Keita won't change anything there.

I don't see where we going here, other than back below Burnley.

Is that 2 wins in 9?

Rodgers was fired, in October, for a similar run which saw Liverpool 10th.

Klopp has declared that Top 4 would be progress. From where we are, it certainly would.

Well from the visible changes, yes. Because he hasn't employed oyed a defensive specialist. He hasn't changed formation to a back 3 apart from the end of last season and he hasn't employed a DM. And whatever coaching he has done, we are still leaking goals like anything. Those are all facts.

Salah kicking the ball out there - fk off.
They didn't do it when they had the chance - no anger and just to accepting of conceding goals.

not rated Can today, but we have fk all change with this keeper and centre half partnership.

Biggest surprise is how few we have conceded at home.

bks, st and fannies.

In fairness to Spurs, they've built a good side which will coast in to the top four. It serves as a reminder of how far we haven't gone.

Completely, 100% agree. We do suffer from small man syndrome. Unfortunately.

Grujic looks more of a unit.

Doesn't get much of a run so presumably he just isn't there talent wise.

Edit: fking Mignolet and fking Lovren. fking hell.

OUCH

I am not one for wholesale change normally , however in this instance just ship out every defender with the exception maybe of Matip and TAA OR Gomez. Replace the lot, bring in a solid defensive coach and stop messing around.

Early days but I would say that's you lot FUBAR for the league. That is if you had any aspirations of winning it.

We've known that for a while. No way we could win it with our defence.
