At "£200m" you'd have thought he'd be rubbing his hands with glee. A few pennies off the soaring cost of the new stadium.

He was bobbins last night - get rid of him, Mane and IFirmino and buy a keeper and grind out a few results.

Flippin predictable.

Personally I don't think any particular player played bad, Swansea defended very well indeed. Tactics are where the blame is for me, once you've got 30 minutes to go and nothing seems to be changing then take off 2 or 3 defenders then throw them in the box. Gung Ho!. Our defenders had more shots than the strikers and they were god awful. To be fair you can't really blame Karius for the goal, I thought he done well other than the goal but it was exactly the most testing of games.

AOC was Liverpools man of the match for me, no idea why he was taken off. I also agree the captain statement, an odd choice, I also thought it was odd for PC before he left.

Today is going to be a difficult day as I'm surrounded by horrid manks irked

I think what was more disappointing last night was the performance, not so much the result.

Putting it into perspective, I can probably count on one finger the number of previous bad performances this season (Spurs). That was it until last night. In other games we've had dominating performances but frustratingly not a result to show for it.

I think we'll bounce back strongly against Huddersfield.

Liverpool have apparently put in a bid for both Messi and Suarez (as of yet unconfirmed by either club) it just hasn't made the papers yet. They have been kinda impressed by their form of late.

Again.
Maybe not!

We were due a big slice of luck, trust me.

You were clearly superior in possession and ball retention but we defended stoutly (even Leroy Fer) and sometimes things just go your way.

Got a telling off from the missus losing my sh*t when Firmino hit the post and Mawson put Lallana off.

I'd rather have Andy Carroll and/or Peter Crouch back.
We'd have a plan B then.

(I jest but I did actually find myself thinking at about 70mins we should put VVD up front. Last night he showed what a knock down from a big man can do)

I think Klopp should have given Lallana a full half in place of either Jini or Emre. Having both of them on the pitch when a team is sitting back isn't the best idea. I was also getting a bit frustrated with Robertson passing backwards to Van Dyke all the time when he should have thrown a few balls onto the penalty spot to give the Swansea defence a bit to think about. By passing back our forwards have to stop and the opposition defence are on their front foot. I don't understand taking the Ox off either.

I have no confidence of any of our games, its always exciting and when we play well we can beat anyone, against defensive teams we can get all Liverpooly and drop points.

Yes Swansea are unlucky and Huddersfield may not be, or may be more open but we need to figure out a way to get around the sides of these teams

What with that massive profit they're getting from selling cranes, they'll pretty much have a free stadium.

Would love to be a Spurs fan. With how financially and commercially astute Levy is, they must be spending loads on buying in the best players.

I don't think we should get too hung up on last night's result. Substitute us for Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, even Utd and I think any one of those teams are capable of the same result and I imagine they'll be quite a few more results like that from the "top six but not City" before the season ends.

I am not hung up on the result (I don't think many are) as any team can defend resolutely and have a bit of a luck and beat a top 4 team. What I am hung up on is Klopp not seeming to figure out a solution.

Even if VVD was out of the Coutinho money should still be a cool 60m ready to be spent, unless its already been spent and Keita in Jan was your one shot

Klopp has shown with VVD, he'd rather wait and get the guy he wants rather than have a knee-jerk reaction and get someone like Balotelli!
