Creative midfielder was lacking last night, however PC wasn't always on form for those games, look at our record last year with him against lower/defensive teams. STAT PLEASE
I was angry when Ox came off as I think Wijnaldem should have made way, Can was at least getting on the ball, his use of it was very poor though. I despise the 5 yard back/sideways pass that he does 99% of the time.
Great to see Ings on the pitch that's a real positive and he looked up for it!

First game not seen all season looks like the right one to miss
Klopp was livid after..says they did nothing they discussed and trained for all week...
Ascay said we would be fine selling Phil as we had replacements already in, this was why so many of us were worried as he is a totally different kind of player...
Got to put it behind us and try go on another long unbeaten run

I'm not sure what is worse, when Can would just play the simple pass and kick off the cycle of just recycling possession around several players, or when he'd try to be slightly more creative, play a pass forward which nearly always resulted in us losing possession.I was angry when Ox came off as I think Wijnaldem should have made way, Can was at least getting on the ball, his use of it was very poor though. gives me some encourgaementhave we given up on having a captain on the pitch because we rotate so much?
Can is no leader and does not lead by example, should have kept Ox on and brought on Milner for Wij/Can to add some leadership - Milner also injects some urgency and creativity coming off the bench, and is mature enough to shout some instructions out there

Oi im not taking the blame Klopp didn't even play the player i suggested. Also you said VVD would cut out these defensive mistakes, he set this one up

Ha not saying you were, I'm just saying even with Adam, I knew this would happen, he is an intense player, 1 who is suited to a high pressing game against teams who come to play, not one who play with a back 5 with 4 in frontAlso you said VVD would cut out these defensive mistakes, he set this one up
Don't try also blame VVD for that goal as you did for the Everton one, when it is his mistake (which will happen) I'm sure many of us will mention it, last night though you need to look at the 2 trying to go for his ball...and which one of them also left the player (shooting) free
The only way in which VVD can be blamed is that there should have been more communication. From looking at replays it doesn't look like VVD gives any shout for the others to leave it.
He's another stat: Liverpool faced 51 corners between conceding an injury time equalizer at Sevilla and Swansea's winner today without letting one in. Two months ago.

We are not actually that bad at set plays, its a media thing more than anything, we let far more in from individual errors than anything He's another stat: Liverpool faced 51 corners between conceding an injury time equalizer at Sevilla and Swansea's winner today without letting one in. VVD should not have to should, he was in his zone, like the others should have been who were going back into his, everyone does as they are trained no doubt daily goal does not happen...

I seem to recall on average only 3% of corners result in a goal? That was in one of Tomkin's articles that used to be posted on here. He's another stat: Liverpool faced 51 corners between conceding an injury time equalizer at Sevilla and Swansea's winner today without letting one in. Two months ago.
There seems to have been a offer (loan) for Sturridge:

Only 0.16% of throw-ins taken by left footed players on the right flank result in headers scored by defensive midfielders with an S in their surname and size 9 boots. There seems to have been a offer (loan) for Sturridge:
