First match I've watched on ITV this world cup I think. I'm reminded how fking annoying Tyldesley is.

Amazing what they can achieve when they stop trying to play the unpleasant version of the game.

I'll say it again. ste world cup so far. 10 men behind the ball defending, everyone far too cagey, diving, cheating, VAR and most of the decent players haven't turned up so far. Disappointing

Brazil acting like they have won the cup. Sad site to see from a once great team
What, the St. Petersburg Stadium? Looked okay to me...

has anyone been booked for diving in this WC yet, despite some obvious examples seen as such by the ref (as he didn't give the free kick)?

is this an instruction to be lenient, which would be a bit odd?

Was that the football equivalent of rope a dope? Mess around for 90 minutes then finish it off properly at the end.

This world cup is the perfect opportunity to take a zero tolerance policy on diving and play acting, they've got VAR, they can carry on with the game and let the VAR team review every tackle, any fking about or blatant diving, yellow card.

It would stop the fking about in it's tracks would it not?

Least inspiring day of matches this WC so far. Cheering on Iceland though

I'm cheering on Nigeria. Iceland had a nice run in the Euro's, so they've already had their turn at 'giant slaying'

Technically correct. Even a narrow Iceland loss to Croatia would be enough though smile
