Hard to know what to want in this match.

City are out of sight, but I cannot help wanting them to lose. But I always want Liverpool to lose. Can they both lose, please?
It's a draw now, I've decided to just cheers cards and injuries.
.....and a draw. Games like these are obvious "cheer for a draw" affairs. Two points each dropped :-)

City will probably win it in injury time which will then be greeted with a unanimous shout of "Its not faaaaaaair" from the Kop laugh
It's easy now. I'm cheering two goals by Sterling....

Good to see city get spanked, but shame it was the scousers that did it. Might seed a few doubts in their defenders' and keeper's minds about playing it around at the back now.

Close the goal difference with an 8-0 against stoke with Sanchez in the stands....

I'll just settle for a silencing of the Bertie's for a few days.

They almost blew it. Have to give credit to the Scousers. They went for it and rattled City from the off. Well played and a deserved victory.

We need to make a statement now against Stoke. A relegation threatened, managerless team at OT means we have to spank them.

I think it'll be quite the atmosphere tomorrow. Nothing like false hope and a late kick off

Hope so, we really need to make a statement. Somehow, I can see a hard fought 2-0 with the second goal coming in the last minute, whilst we all crap ourselves for the majority of the match.

Hardly spanked. They had the majority of possession and controlled a lot of the game - 1-1 at HT was fair, and they caused their own downfall largely in the second half, with the pressure the Scousers put them under. And they nearly got a draw.

They'll continue to play how they've played for all of this season so far, it's got them where they are. There aren't many teams who can press like their opponents today ...

Really good game. Both teams going at it hammer and tong. Not sure quite whether they can keep that sort of intensity up to the end of the season. Liverpool thoroughly deserved to win.

We need to win tomorrow. Giving Stoke a shoeing would be great but 3 points is more important. Sanchez sitting in the stands would be great. Doesn't look good for Ibra.

Might be able to catch you, can almost certainly give your neighbours the title now, can't see them losing too many more.

Watched the game live on a flight out to India which was crazy.
7 goals caused by incompetent keeping and defending ,fair play the scousers ,they harried city and a couple of great finishes but some schoolboy defending by both teams

When you lost to them did you not let in the 2 goals with mistakes too?

Not that surprising since we're on the same points as you now.... City too far ahead, so you are the ones to aim for.

Same points and only 3 behind on goal difference; from the team who are regarded as so inferior.

Yet Liverpool play such amazing attacking football and United are boring park the bus football but we're still 3 goals ahead and a game in hand. You don't half come out with some st at times on this thread.

True all 3 goals were from mistakes ,but it’s not often an issue for united ,nor does it for you or city excuse that sort of defending at that level .

Sad to see Liverpool now aiming to
Finish runners up,you’re not spurs.
