I’d prefer it if you could slag off Lukaku another 15-20 times please to give me a shot at the £50 bets I’ve got with the Spuddies.

Brilliant from Pog. Mata was pretty poor and profligate. Could have been 6 or 7.

Complete cruise for United.

Add Sanchez into that squad and it looks complete.

Pogba is a class apart.

well that was comfortable. Need to go to Dubai more often it seems. Lukaku, Pogba top drawer tonight and a left footed goal from Valencia to boot. All we need to do now is announce Sanchez and everyone can go to bed happy.

It doesn’t look complete to me with just the one player. Lots of concerns over the defence still, as Stoke walked through it a couple of times and only DDG and their poor finishing stopped them scoring at least four.

Competent performance. Jones never inspires confidence for me. Shaw gets better, pogba is class, lukaku looks confident again.
A couple of players short of a fabulous team but the signs are right. Jose looks relaxed and having fun too. Happy days. It's an exceptional season we would be top under normal circumstances, who's to say we and others won't push city hard.

I think a big part of the defensive problems is coming from the lack of effective midfield screening in a 4-2-3-1, where Pogba is part of the 2. He needs to roam the pitch, but that leaves big gaps behind him and in front of the defence which Matic cant cover alone. That leaves the central defence over run, which creates many of the problems. Personally I'd rather 4-3-3 but if it has to be 4-2-3-1 then PP needs to be in the 3, with Herrera or some more defensively minded player alongside Matic.

There are still problems in center defense, both Smalling & Jones can easily drop a bk at any time, but I don't think its just personnel. Perhaps if we do sign Sanchez that makes the attack more potent for Jose to switch back to a 4-3-3.

Thank god we have De Gea though, that save at the end of the first half really saved the game for us. 2-1 could have been messy.

If Sanchez comes in who spends more time on the bench, Mata? Rashford? Martial?

Mata for me. I can’t see him being with us next season, even if Sánchez doesn’t join us.

If you have Mata, Sanchez, Lukaku, Rashford, Martial and Lingard that's a more than decent mix of pace, power and guile to rotate.

Sanchez is more than capable of having 3 or 4 barnstorming seasons.

Seriously hope he doesn't sign for you lot.

He's awesome. Class performance tonight was expecting a 5 or 6 to be honest. About time we got one.

So he should be, for what he cost United, after giving him away previously.
