So he should be, for what he cost United, after giving him away previously.
In light of current transfers, his deal seems to be a bargain.

Pogba is different class. Leagues apart.
Yep,needs another holding midfielder alongside him to go 433 against better teams and free him up.
Playing as a 2 in midfield is ok against the weaker teams ,but hinders him against better opposition.

First job in management, that's mental.
Second. Don't forget his first was managing United.
Will he turn up to all the games though, including friendlies?

Giggs confirmed as Wales Manager! Wonder if he’ll bother turning up for friendlies hehe

Well done, you are so astute....you can now be clubbed in with me as 'great minds thinking alike'.

Ref Pogba, I have been impressed with him a lot more this year

But this is a genuine question- not wumming, has he turned up and put in a big performance against any of the top 5 yet ?

Not really. But I don't think anyone really has other than DDG.

More a Jose set up issue then?

Not necessarily. Players have generally not performed against the teams just below us.

He also didn't play against City.

wkfest over De Bruyne and yet Pogba has the same amount of assists but has played 10 games less. He's truly world class and is getting better and better, he runs the show just like Scholes used to smile

Are you ever going to stop having a pop at Jose and the set up of his teams? It’s quite dull and transparent WUMing for the sake of it. I get frustrated at times with his approach, but there is method is his madness.

Titles are won on building a strong defence and then a solid spine and then the fantasy football comes afterwards. Nobody has won a title on a free flowing style based on “we’ll score one more than you”. Your manager is trying that and then to shore up a leaky defence. It might be enjoyable football, but it’s unlikely to lead to success.

Like I mentioned above though he seems to be doing it like Lujkaku against teams like your Stoke etc, surely he needs to step up against top class players he is up against? like De Bruyne does
I am yet to see him 'run the show' against any CM thats half decent - when he starts doing that regular I am sure he will get the plaudits from others he gets from you guys ?

He's not played against any of the top 5 (including United) this season.

Was not having a go, was trying to figure out why UTD and Pogba have not turned up against the top 5?

See my post above. We're much better with Pogba in the team, that's obvious, at least to some.

We've played against Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea and City with him either unavailable through suspension or injured. I guess that answers your point.

You're welcome.

He did play against Arsenal but got sent off, however we won the game anyway 3-1 thanks to Messi Lingard.

I know. But we're in the top 5 so I guess you should really say top 6 which would have included Arsenal, where he did feature.
