Sorry, Sparky. Fair point - my post was unfair and pointlessly unkind.
Back to laughing at the Scousers.
Thanks, apology accepted.Back to laughing at the Scousers.
My resolution for 2018 is to stop WUMMING.
Witnessing the descent into the cesspit between Utd and Spurs fans during the last week it feels like a decent resolution.

Well the football world is watching closely...
Being honest I expect nothing, as the pricing has come out so late that if they were going too I would have imagined it would have been announced at the same time as the pricing. Edit - PORTO MEMBERS are being charged £22.00

So standard wage + image rights + bonus = well in excess of £500k everyone is blathering on about, its a huge deal no matter what way people try to justify it. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-...
For what its worth it doesn't really matter imo, you can afford it and you've earned the right to spend it but dont try and convince yourself that its anything other half a bar a week +

Right, so when other players have bonuses applied they have to win Balon d'Or etc to get them paid, but our players we just chuck em out like candy? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-...

Or do you think he'll only get those bonuses if we win the CL, PL etc
Every time the wage debate come up and it's just boring. If you're one of the best at your given sport then you're going to earn huge money.
Lewis Hamilton earns just shy of 900k A WEEK and nobody bats an eyelid.
I couldn't actually care less what he earns as long as he performs on the pitch and works hard for the team.

It’s what he would command in the summer contract free.
It’s the state of football.I have no issue with top players earning mega bucks,it is seeing kids nowhere near their first teams becoming multi millionaires and blokes happy to play in the reserves on 50 or 100k a week that bother me.
City are paying yaya 220k a week and he is essentially a reserve team player now.
And no club maximises the ‘image rights’ like united

Footballers have always been brought up for wages but like you say there are several sports out there where they earn a lot more if goodLewis Hamilton earns just shy of 900k A WEEK and nobody bats an eyelid.

ie golf, motorsport, tennis etc etc
Ant & Dec I think last year earned 79k a day each, for doing what a couple of hours a day

What you dont have though is Mercedes fans saying, ALL the reports are false, he's really only earning a fiver a week despite what everyone says etc etc
