I'm the same. Hate to admit it but it's been really st finishing below the Spuds the last few years. It matters to me that we finish above both them and Utd.
Does anyone really care about Spurs?

If it wasn't for the posters on here I really wouldn't care.
Not the case with UTD.
I wouldn't give two hoots about them if I didn't have to put up with them lauding it around on PH that they've finished above us for the last X seasons where X is the year when they stopped being completely st.
Its exactly the same for us trust me, i never gave a monkeys about Liverpool or utd until these forums came along but the way some of their fans behave on here means i hope we finish above both.
Fantastic! Let's all keep on keeping on then....arguepunch

Wow, steady on Loon. You sounded a little angry there......
I’m anything other than an angry person, nor am I a loon, I was just using the type of language you chose to use about “fking Mourinho”, I thought that was how you chose to converse.
Some posters on here appear to think that you are R1Loon, who was banned from Pistonheads as his posts breached the rules in some way?

The posting style is similar and you do have an interest in motorbikes and insurance related matters. The latter of which R1Loon was particularly passionate about. He and I had somewhat different views on the handling of insurance claims, myself coming from a claimant perspective and he, defendant. We were always respectful of each others position though, at least we were from memory.

To be honest considering you now live abroad(?), it wouldn't surprise me if you are/were R1Loon as nobody makes more money than the insurance guys. biggrin

Nope, not me, but I do get grief about him, sounds like he upset a few along the way. I don’t live abroad permanently, I’ve got a place abroad and like to enjoy winter sun out there, but spend time here in the U.K. too.

I’m more a wider financial services type, mortgages, finance, secured loans, but have recent experience of insurance with the theft of my car.

smile

You do speak on insurance related matters with some authority... wink

Sorry to read about the break in, that must have been pretty scary. Pretty sure I remember R1Loon buying an M4. Lived in the same neck of the woods as you and I too. scratchchin

I think you'd have got on pretty well with him, very likeminded.

Anyhoo, if you say you're not him, you're not him. thumbup

I’ve had this before, sorry to let you down, but it’s because of this

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gavia_Pass

An incredible route, that I’ve driven and ridden by both motorbike and bicycle. The latter back when I could cycle almost professionally, now it’s a struggle to get off the settee.

No worries mate. As I say, if you say you're not him, you're not him. smile

Not the case with UTD.

Very true. It’s amazing how they manage to unite everyone in their dislike of them.

Agreed. I always quite liked Spurs if I'm honest, can't bring myself to like them now.

You dislike a football club because of about five middle-aged keyboard warriors on here? laugh

There are teams I dislike that’s ingrained in my psyche, Liverpool being the primary one, but I don’t necessarily dislike all their fans, some are good mates. However, my exposure to Spurs is limited to the keyboard warriors on here, some of whom I find quite really dislikeable.

I find them so dislikable, that any appreciation of the team has long since evaporated. There is a comment about disliking people so much that you wouldn’t piss on them if they were on fire. I think I’d sell tickets.
