Cracking goal from Bale plus the flukey one at the end. Pretty much one trick ponies with regard to Salah then eh?
Would we seriously benefit from Bale in the team if there was a chance? He's still injury prone but what a player at times.
I don't personally think we need or want Ronaldo back if that was his swansong but who's to say what might happen?
Best team won tonight that's for certain

I dare you It is progress when we have had very little CL qualification in recent years, and we consolidate it again for another season. With the run it is also likely to help us get better players who have seen the way we play and make football look exciting. I'd suspect the 1 point less than last year is easily covered by us concentrating on CL football this year. However yes, basically the same as last year in terms of the stats.
Looks bad for Klopp, but when you consider the teams he is against/ he has it is perhaps less surprising overall.
Real Madrid
Sevilla (beat you lot, had won the previous 2)
Manchester City
Wolfsburg
Bayern
Bayern
But yes, you will make fun of us, as we would the other way round!
Utd have gained 23 points over where they were last season and reached the FA Cup final, but performed poorly in Europe and ended trophyless and I think few would disagree that the quality of football is any better than last season, possibly slightly worse.
Whereas we've dropped a point in the league (our top six form has been atrocious) but performed so much better in Europe than we have in over a decade. Our defence is night and day over what it was at the beginning of the season and I think most of us would agree that the quality of football has been getting steadily better. If we continue to get better the way we have, the trophies will come.

That’s a bit harsh mate. We’re not like that. Not at all. But it was fking funny. Karius, Karius, Karius.
