Sorry, but the vast majority of United fans hate the scousers with a passion. I’m totally with Neville on this one. And would expect exactly the same from the scousers had we lost. It’s a long standing rivalry.

I hate them with a passions. Always have, always will. I grew up in Manc, at a time a lot of my mates and school peers supported the scousers because they were so successful. I’ve hated them ever since (age 10). And I’d fully understand the feeling being reciprocated - as it is by some on here. Thankfully in a well mannered way.

I or someone else (I can’t remember) said the scousers will still be whinging about this 10 years hence.

That time frame may have been a little conservative and I’m now not sure I’ll actually live long enough to hear the end of it.
