Agreed. Rather than listen to twitter drivel, actually watch the games or highlights at least and form your own view!

Sanchez looks fantastic and no doubt is going to be excellent for us this season!
best not to make incorrect assumptions as well.

Great news on Sanchez. I am looking for so much more from him in the early games.

Tough old sod.

In other news Sky reporting we’ve made a move for Maguire. £65M being our valuation.

That's really great, best news of the summer so far.

Martial's baby has arrived, too, so congrats to him as well.

Now, they do say good news comes in threes, so no pressure Ed...

It was news to me that Fergie is mortal, so great to see him back on good form.

Funny how Shaw divides opinion. I've watched all the friendlies so far. Shaw's final ball has been poor, but I'm on the side of improving and deserves a chance. Utter ste I do not agree with. He's fit and clearly first choice for the first few games.

The press coverage today of him today is timely. He's making all the right noises and appears to have grown up. We'd be crazy to let him go now.

Yep. He's got to be given a good run at the start of the season, 5-6 games to prove his worth. He's clearly been grafting and wants to fight for his place so fair play to him smile

Despite all the tweets/press going on about how Jose is moaning, the players and Jose himself look to be in great spirits and there appears to be a great bond between them all!

I hope so,I just thought overall he looked poor ,he looked poor against very poor opposition ,but in his defence the entire defence has looked very dodgy.
He has never had a final ball ,after 5-6 years at the highest level you would expect better.

Those 5 or 6 games should see him flying again in the manner he was pre leg break. I do wonder if we'll see more of the 3-5-2 formation this season.

The press are clearly feeding on scraps. There's absolutely nothing leaking out of the club at the moment but they need copy. Away and write your ste, as Fergie used to finish his pressers with!

If we get Maguire or Alderweireld then I can see us playing Maguire Lindelof Bailly as a back three and Shaw + Valencia (once back) as wing backs!

Lindelof? He's dangerous, and not in a good way.

He was ok in the international team. Maybe he just needs a little time. Anyway, name me one of our CB’s who isn’t a liability.
