I certainly don't pop into your thread to wind anyone up, that's schoolboy stuff, for the record I hope United do well this season, I just can't see it.
I was just stating my honest opinion.
Your point about billionaire ownership is a wind up and you know it. We were bought with a mortgage. If that hadn't happened we'd be beyond catching up....the premier league would be like the bundesliga. I was just stating my honest opinion.
The premier league is better for United being caught up but don't be trawlingnout the billionaire owner ste. Isn't the Bahamas based fker legend that owns Spurs also a billionaire? They can't even afford electricians.
On the other point I agree. I'm a Manchester lad. As are my folks. My dad was a huge Red but as a kid he went to united one weekend and City the other, with his mates. I drink with my mates every week some of them are Bertie's and I'm delighted for them. They are passionate season ticket holders and have had decades of misery.

I’m an ABU, but not because of the success, more the arrogance that overcame some of their players and supporters in those successful years. It’s now ingrained into their fans, and it’ll take a while and a new generation until that is weeded our hopefully.
Added to which they now have a manager who just fits the bill ... arrogant. They deserve each other!
Isn’t our manager the one that brought your team a lot of success and your first title in 50 years?Added to which they now have a manager who just fits the bill ... arrogant. They deserve each other!

You can't let it go. I love it even more so because my Granddads best friend was Stan Pearson. Not the S Person you are thinking about, there are two S Pearsons to have played for Man United.
Stan just so you know was the only united player to score a hatrick against Liverpool before Berbatov. One of our great thefts from Spurs. Like Carrick.
S Pearsons. Making Desolate, desolate since since 1946.
As a soft side point to cut through the sometimes juvenile drivel we get on here I have two photos on my staircase wall from 1928 and 1931 of my Granddad and Stan Pearson in their school boy football team. I know who they are as my granddad wrote all the names on the back of the photo and met Stan.
I still go to Old Trafford on the tickets Stan secured for my grandad but we have moved seats! There's been a member of my family at very home game for United since the early 1940's possibly before.
Anyone beat that? Some at united still call me. Jonny come lately.

I am a scouser who has lived and worked in and around Manchester since I was 6.
I was in 6th form college in Moss Side when Fergie started and I lived in Salford when you won the cup winners cup.
My business partner from 1997 to 2012 was a rabid Utd fan. I reckon I have lost at least 10K in bets.
It's been fking awful since 1990 bar a few high points. To top it off I have now met SAF a few times and he is one of the most interesting people I have ever met - right up there at the top.
So, no, I can't let it go.
(Plus my dad once had a proper bust up with Nobby Styles watching my brother play for Crewe Reserves against UTD Reserves. It was genuinely hilarious.)

Typical Man.United rethoric. If, if...if Ferguson was sacked in his 2nd season…..
Real Madrid won 13 Cl titlles without foreign ownership, United a meagre 3.
United is a desperate, shirt selling, 500 million in debt, US marketing franchise with no own style of play and a lack of football knowledge in management.
The survival artistis called Eddie Wayward, aka slippery Ed, Glazers forward operating post, lacks any knowledge of football.
Furthermore you have a manager who parks the bus against any decent opponent and bans young talent because Mr.short term parking permit can't handle talent nor a squad who plays dominant football (Real).
You have an overrated French captain with funny hair, a funny walk and who seems decent amongst WC footballers thanks to his physique.
And you pretend to be the biggest club in the world.
First win something United and loose the Ferguson idolatry which the club so desperately clinges on to.
It's all becoming a bit pathetic.

What a jerk Lol! A pathetic 3 champions leagues, 20 titles , 12 FA cups, 5 league cups, UEFA league trophy, cup winners cup, super cup, 21 charity shields etc etc etc... England's most successful team and by some margin too.
Jealousy is a terrible affliction. Please go talk about it on your own teams threads though, whoever that may be!

Real, Ajax, Barcelona, Bayern, Ac Milan, Liverpool...……………..Man.United
Even apart from cups won, stuff like the history, influence on world football, the academy, history, players, style of play, legacy etc.
A little less noise might do United well.
