Right, enough dicking around!
Mata off, Martial moving inside, Shaw & Ash pushing on and crossing the damn ball, McT or Fellaini on as 3rd CB.
CHARGE!!!

Maureen won’t last till Christmas at this rate. We look absolutely awful. A continuation of the parts are way greater than the sum. And some of the parts are poor.

I’m not sure I’d have anyone in a United shirt other than DDG and possibly Pogba. Unfortunately Maureen hasn’t worked, football has moved on. And no I’m not reacting to just a single game. We’ve had no system for a while, no dynamism and no penetration.

Been feeling and saying this for at least 6 months but we’re stuck with the team as it stands now so how do we start winning again?
My solution above is only partly in jest. We’ve got to play early crosses or accurate balls in for Lukaku to bully defenders.

Disgraceful again. I don’t expect us to roll teams over like we used to, but I do expect to see some passion.

Brighton didn’t have a shot on target in the whole match against Watford, who with all due respect are a bottom half of the table team. We’re making them look like world beaters.

Absolute disgrace.

I take no pleasure at all in us being as awful as I predicted. So bad. Mou has lost it completely.

I think it’s much deeper than that. Lukaku isn’t good enough for me. But even if he were, the style of football needs to change. It’s way way too flat. The game has moved on. Winning teams are much more cavalier than in the past. They attack as soon as the other side has the ball, they get lots of players in the box, etc etc.

We have it all very very wrong, and with the wrong players at the back at the very least.

Martial has been terrible. He wants out. He’s our second best outfield player. How has Mou got it so wrong with him and Pogba? It’s almost like deliberate self-destruction.

I agree entirely but as I said, we’re stuck with the team now until Jan (unless we sell anyone!) so how do we get them playing? While we all agree that many are a bit too average for a United team, they are all capable of better in a suitable system or if they are treated differently.

A home defeat could see the first serious mumblings of fan discontent with Mou even this early.

I’ve no idea why the fans have been so forgiving, to be honest. We have been utterly dreadful to watch for a very long time now.

There's no shame in losing to Tottenham.

You were second last year. Most fans would give their right eye for that.
