I’ve no idea why the fans have been so forgiving, to be honest. We have been utterly dreadful to watch for a very long time now.
You were second last year. Most fans would give their right eye for that.

Being effective and being attractive to watch are two separate things.

Playing in a bad side for a manager he hates.

We’ve just been discussing it, clean out your ears...
Jose could well be gone soon.

Only 36 league games to go? Does that count?

To be rated as world class you need to be able to get past stuff like that.

Rubbish. Put De Bruyne in a Championship side and he’d look poor.

200mphclub will be along soon enough to put a positive spin on the result.

Not a WUM... and has been said before... United look like a group of individuals playing without a system. No one seems to know where they are supposed to be when they don’t have the ball... either in attack or defense.

The problem is that they do all know where they’re supposed to be, it’s just that they either disagree with it, or that it goes against their natural instincts. City attack relentlessly, players surge forward and are always on the move, we just stand still. It’s ste.

For once, I agree with you. He’s a petulant brat at times, and to be fair, his performance has not been much worse than his average one for us. A leader he is not.

Well, at least we know how to commit fouls. That must be where the coaching effort was in the week.

It doesn’t help that you don’t really defend from the front. In a 4-3-3, you’ll always look a bit light in midfield if your wide forwards don’t work their arses off to win the ball back and help the FBs.

Just showed up what we all knew and accepted, he was after a dominating CB for a reason. We are also stuck with Martial and Rashford who both are not at the right level currently for whatever reason. If lukaku gets injured we are screwed.
Blame Jose all you want but this is a collaborative effort and some players are just not right or doing enough currently. Still early days but not signing a dominating CB may cost us dearly as will a lack of attacking options when Lukaku gets a knock. Either back Jose with his rebuilding he wanted or let him go but don't do nothing at all.
