Competing, but not winning them though? How long has he got?
It's like you keep ignoring what I and every Liverpool fan say for the sake of it..

If we don't win out and we look like we're not improving and going backwards that's when pressure will come on him, not instantly but will be over time, as we are not blind to remembering where we were , where he has got us now and what potential is on the horizon can be seen be all.
3 years ago , if Liverpool were mentioned in Europe teams would look at us as a easy target, now everyone wants to avoid us..that tells you everything
Only opposition fans want the klopp out train to start as we're seen as threat, where as before we wasn't...
You can suddenly tell by how all of a sudden opposition fans are suddenly signing about us again, whereas before it hardly happened...
Just like fans used to sing about Beckham, Ronaldo etc, the weak are ignored the good are not.

Jose also has the highest win rate % of any Utd manager and is topping Fergie. Stick that one in yer pipes.
Off to watch some paint drying, but might drop back tomorrow night for the fun and games either way.
Would rather win 40% 6-3 than win 50% 1-0

Not all about the win percentage when you would rather watch paint dry than watch a win.

I was making a point to the many non utd fans on here who bang on how st we are. We've very rarely played exciting attacking football since Fergie, however Jose did exactly what he was paid to do, stop the rot and win trophies. His points haul last season regardless of style would have win the league in most normal situations and was higher than quite a few seasons when we won under Fergie.

However this is about the 47th time I've heard these arguments already and it's as exciting as watching us play so far this season.

The one thing about Utd presently is they are as perfectly capable of stuffing Chelsea and winning trophies as they are of being destroyed and finishing nowhere. Confidence is everything.

Utd finished above all these amazing other sides apart from City last season. End of story. The rest is just ‘my club is amazing!’ bks from the usual losers.

Kind of diots who danced around teasing the bigger kids at school until they got slapped and then went crying to teacher.

There could be some red faces this year with some of these so called wonder teams and attacking styles I think. Long way to go yet however.

Genuine question - what would you think though if you finish in 4th or lower? That would just be 1 year you got second, apart from that the best since 2013 was 4th. A bit like us under the 1 season with Rodgers and not much else. Being United I suspect the fans would not be happy for the most part?

Given the lack of improvement in the football, the mood music that Maureen is creating, it would be a huge disappointment.

I’d say it’s more like the long time playground bully is getting a piece of his own medicine & the bully & his chums just can’t hack it.

So next summer these UTD players are out of contract
Some value in players here, pre contracts for a new club can be made with them in Jan I believe ? Love Klopp to go for Martial on a free

Herrera
Mata
Valencia
Smalling
Damian
Martial
De Gea

Surely a massive worry someone snaps up De Gea in Jan too

I thought the club have a one-year option on some of these - the 'keeper for one.

Not sure I jus5t daw Martial was out in the summer on Twitter so googled it and the rest came from MEN site

Just reading does say option of additional year, is that the club or the player who has that?

The club can extend those players contracts for 12 months if they want and there’s fk all the players can do about it. Gives United breathing space to consider options and contract extensions.

The players can do fk all about it?

1. I've seen them try to get Mourinho sacked by playing like chumps so they can do something about it.
2. To be quite honest who'd want to force some of them to stay, judging by the way they've behaved and played over the last 9 months? See point 1 for an example.

That's not to bad then, some big value players could have been snapped up in Jan if they didn't want to extend.
