I confess I wasn't aware of the distinction between feinting in the run up and the striking of the ball.
But, and this is not an attack on Spurs, don't you think players on a wage ranging from £50k to £300k per week should know the rules of their profession?
Also I presume players feint when practising penalties in training so shouldn't the coach (probably one dedicated to penalties) correct this behaviour?

I wasn’t aware of the rules either but Son is a very good striker of the ball so should have just buried it, absolutely no need to try to be clever. But, and this is not an attack on Spurs, don't you think players on a wage ranging from £50k to £300k per week should know the rules of their profession?

Now I was one of the few that actually wanted VAR.
However, the first half of that game has honestly made me reconsider. I guess with a muppet like that ref even VAR can get it horribly wrong.
Did anyone else see Son gesticulate the VAR box after one of the allowed goals? Big grin on his face as he did it. Surprised he wasn’t VAR’d and given a red TBH.
VAR was run from Stockley Park in Uxbridge for what it was worth.
Final score should have been 8-1, not 6-1.
