one ruled out by VAR, one allowed by VAR and one straight through without referrall?
very good. I still hate Llorente and Si-sock-o. Speaking of, has anybody noticed that nobody likes to pass the ball to him? I have no idea what Poch is thinking. He even says he is st in his book.

Don’t know if you were watching the game on BT Sport or not but I watched it on Fox and at one point Sissoko was referred to as a snow plough FFS. I still hate Llorente and Si-sock-o. Agreed though, no-one wants to pass it to him if he’ll need to display a modicum of ball control. Something to chase long, give it to Sissoko. Any semblance of skill required, well his team mates would rather pass it to the opposition.

I just go on random streams so I don't know which channel. The commentator was calling him Si-sock-o which made me wince. Pretty sure he played on roller skates today. Pretty sure Lamela and Son had fun today.

I confess I wasn't aware of the distinction between feinting in the run up and the striking of the ball.
But, and this is not an attack on Spurs, don't you think players on a wage ranging from £50k to £300k per week should know the rules of their profession?
Also I presume players feint when practising penalties in training so shouldn't the coach (probably one dedicated to penalties) correct this behaviour?
Feinting in the run up is permitted. What you can't do is feint to kick the ball once you have reached it - that is considered unsporting. But, and this is not an attack on Spurs, don't you think players on a wage ranging from £50k to £300k per week should know the rules of their profession?

Son feinted in the middle of his run up he had not reached the ball, so he should not have been penalised but the penalty should have been retaken because several players from both teams had encroached in to the penalty area.

At one point in the second half where Sissoko didn't give the ball away, BT came out with the line "Sissoko wasn't his usual imposing self earlier on tonight" - I was dumbfounded and still am.Agreed though, no-one wants to pass it to him if he’ll need to display a modicum of ball control. They also said in the first half "Sissoko, not a very good touch was it" - immediately thought that's what his name on the team sheet should be.

Premier Leagues greatest ever one season wonders it says.

I looked for Salah but it's not been a whole season yet. Sturridge is in it though
So is Klinsmann which is odd as on the strength on his displays for Spurs he got an upgrade to Bayern Munich.

We could be seeing the end of spontaneous, joyous goal celebrations.
Instead, all eyes will go to the ref. breath will be held and an eerie silence will fall upon the ground, punctuated by worried whispers.....
Foolish bks.
I originally thought it would be a good idea but purely on what you've posted here and what a few commentators have said we need to get rid of it asapInstead, all eyes will go to the ref. breath will be held and an eerie silence will fall upon the ground, punctuated by worried whispers.....
Foolish bks.
Can you imagine when we get to the FA cup final and we score the winning goal in the last 5 minutes and everyone's scared to celebrate.
