There is really only one player in the England team who is properly decent, probably approaching world class and we all know who that is so who else would they give the captaincy to? I also find it rather strange that in the context of England players, HK is getting so much stick, just because of the club he plays for. When you consider he is probably England's best chance at not being totally humiliated in this World Cup, you'd like to think more England supporters would leave aside the club politics and actually get behind him. rolleyes

Also agreed on Liverpool fans on here getting very United-esque lately. Personally I'd be holding my horses till AFTER the final but that's just me. smile
We can change back if needed, depending on the result.

(I've been keeping quiet for the most part- remember that if we lose!).

I want Liverpool to win, I really do. Like I've said before they are sort of my second team as my old man supports them, they have played some amazing, positive football this year and I really don't want Madrid to win yet another CL. However 5 minutes on here and I end up wishing they get tanked 5-0.

I just hope if you do win, you're lot accept it with a little grace and humility and not in the vein of your typical United fan.

Am watching the Mo Salah story on Channel 4+1 which is a coincidence as that’s the same score Spurs beat them by at Wembley this season
Didn't watch it, but thought it was strange they decided to do a programme on him after one good season in the Premier League. They didn't do the same for Michael Ricketts.

Annoyingly I think you will win at the weekend. Not that I believe in fate but it just feels like it's meant to be, after the season that Salad has had.

Could be very close though - both sides are amazing going forwards and both are suspect at the rear.

I think they will and hope they do win. Its an English team at the end of the day and im sick of Real winning it every year. Some of their fans arent particularly good winners (or losers for that matter) but come on it is an English team, ill be cheering them on.

Plus the flag with the bird kicking the chicken cracked me up laugh
