Let's keep the military thing secret, at least until Levy finds some mug to buy him. It seems it's not that well known outside Spurs circles so we might just get away with it. wink

There must be a way round this national service thing. Couldn't we just send Sissoko to do it in his place?

Only way out of it is if the team reaches a certain metric in a competition, Ji Sung Park didn't have to do it as they reached the WC Semis

Taken very seriously over there so while he could avoid it, he could never go home

Also likely to be Civil Service rather than any actual Armying, assume will still put a dent in his career though

Asia Cup I believe is his next chance but clashes with PL season IIRC

Some say that's the real reason he was crying when Korea got knocked out of the WC. biggrin

The Asian games are only played for a month, I'm pretty sure Tottenham will release him to go as Korea have a good chance of winning it and it's either one month off this year or two years military service next year so easy choice really.

Unsurprisingly Klopp is favourite to take over the Germany job. Like he's going to leave Liverpool in a million years.

Jurgen Klopp - 3/1
Arsene Wenger - 7/2
Jurgen Klinsmann - 4/1
Julian Nagelsmann - 8/1
Stefan Kuntz - 10/1
Niko Kovac - 14/1

I'd love to see Klopp take it, if only to see the rivers of tears from the scousers but I think you are right. I think Klinsmann would be a good shout. Stands up there as being amongst the best German players of all time IMO.

Klinnsman for me too - perfect fit now.

He's good enough to rebuild with the next Euros as the dress rehearsal and the following WC as the prize.

Bit early for that.

Wait until August when Karius is in the team.
If you PM me I will do the whole cycle on my own in about 3 hours.

They are already declaring themselves league champions and it hasn't even started. They never learn, in fact it seems to get worse every year!

You'd think they'd concentrate on finishing above us first.

They'd stand a better chance with a Suarez/Sherwood combo.
