You'll be hard-pushed to find anyone who actually watches Utd week-in-week-out that agrees with you. Every single Utd fan I know thinks he was easily our best outfield player last season.

The press love a story, and Pogba cost a lot. So they run with the "not worth the money" story over and over again and don't bother to actually assess his performances. He was probably MoM more than any player other than DdG.
So no truth in the stories today that Mourinho and Pogba have had a bust up? whistle

Also I may not watch Utd week in week out but I watched Pogba in at least half a dozen games last season and he was non-existent or downright poor in all of them. I must just be unlucky I guess.

He does play fairly badly in about 1/5 games. But that is partly because the players around him are not really up to it.

He has fallen out with Jose. Jose is a right tosser.

You must be the first United fan I've heard say that about Jose although I get the impression many think it but don't want to admit it. If United don't have a decent start to the season, I predict the usual Jose implosion by Christmas.

Tripps is back as well, and Sissoko is still uninjured.

Lamella I can take our leave tbh but Winks and Trippier coming back will be like buying 2 new players that we should have got in the transfer window. wink

I'm of the exact opposite opinion.

Love Lamella and his work ethic, Winks I can take or leave but he reminds me of so many previous players who never quite made it.

Still, England International so what do I know frown

Lamella looked promising but I always got the impression that he was always very busy without actually producing an end product and his return after his injury has done nothing to dispel that impression for me. If by work ethic you mean he runs around a lot then yes I agree, he does put the effort in, it's just I've not really seen him do anything really amazing once he gets the ball. He doesn't have that killer pass that Erisken has, nor the trickery and guile of Alli or the pace of Son and Moura.

I'd love to be proven wrong this season but from what I've seen, he is a bench\squad player and not someone who will have a drastic impact on our results.

So Pogba is easily your best outfield player because everyone around him is st. Makes perfect sense. Thanks for clearing that up. tongue out

Yeah just not 100% convinced. Like I said I have nothing against his work rate, he certainly puts the effort in but he's not exactly a prolific goal scorer or even assists as far as I can tell (someone will probably be along with stats to prove me wrong)

Runs around a lot but doesn't actually do much to cause danger is the lasting impression I got from him last season. I guess we'll get to find out how he fares this year with more games.

It's obvious that Pogba was great for Utd last season by the way Jose has taken every opportunity to lavish praise on him for his performances and attitude. Oh wait...

And, as we know, José is never wrong about players. Ask De Bruyne.
